From 2022, it is made compulsory for candidates to take the entrance exam and secure a good score. After the entrance exam, the admission lists are released online.

Both courses are similar in terms of eligibility, duration, and admission process. The only difference is that in the BA (Hons) course, students can choose a specialisation and study a particular subject during the course. While in a BA (Prog), at least five subjects have to be studied by students. In addition, LSR College offers these UG courses in multiple specialisations.

Till 2021, admissions were based on Class 12/HSC exam scores. However, now the admission is through CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test). Hence, candidates' performance in the entrance exam shall now be the deciding factor for admission.

Till 2021, admissions were based on Class 12/HSC exam scores. However, now the admission is through CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test). Hence, candidates' performance in the entrance exam shall now be the deciding factor for admission. Moreover, now the merit list will not be released in the public domain. Candidates who appear for the exam shall be able to check the result with the credentials generated during the CUET application process.
