The Academy follows an open admission policy. You should have a minimum of 15 years of formal education in any subject with a degree. Exceptions will be made for candidates with work experience or life learning experiences, with a minimum of 12 years of formal education. You should be at least 20 years old. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis and involves a three-step process:

Interviews for the first batch of students that applied, were held on the 24th of January 2019 and we had candidates from all parts of the country trooping into the Academy along with their families. They were all taken on a guided tour of the Campus first and then went through the various stages of the selection process. They also had the opportunity to interact with the current batch of students on campus to get a first-hand feel of life at LLA.
Later, the candidates and their families joined the Staff and current students at Lunch. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm and eagerness with which the candidates took part in the selection process. By evening the process was over and the names of selected candidates were announced.

Interview at LLA was quite insightful as it made me discover curtain new things about myself from another perspective. The interview, which was taken in 3 phases, proved to be well organised and systematic. The interviewers, with their easy going style and calm composure set all my apprehension at ease and left me feeling confident of my potential and abilities.

Eligiblity Criteria
Certificate and Diploma Programmes:
Candidates can apply for some of the certificate courses in Photography after passing the class 10 board exams.
However, this varies from institute to institute as some institutes require the candidates to complete 10+2 education in order to apply for the programme.
Admission to all the diploma programmes ca be secured once the candidates have completed 10+2 exams.
All admissions to these programmes are done directly without any entrance exams.
