{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Course Curriculum at Lokmanya Tilak College of EngineeringBased on the statements provided by students and alumni, the course curriculum at Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering is considered relevant to some extent. However, it lacks practical orientation and focuses more on theoretical knowledge. Here's a breakdown of the key points:* Relevance: Some students and alumni feel that the course curriculum is relevant to the industry, citing examples of courses like OOPs, SPA, and Data Structures being industry-oriented. [Student 15]* Theory-practical imbalance: Many students agree that the course curriculum is heavily focused on theoretical knowledge, with limited practical applications. [Students 14, 17, 23]* Industry readiness: While some students believe that the course curriculum prepares them for industry requirements, others feel that it falls short in making them industry-ready. [Students 11, 19]It appears that the course curriculum could benefit from a greater emphasis on practical knowledge and hands-on experience to prepare students for the workforce. Here are some bullet points summarizing the findings:* Relevant courses: Certain courses within the curriculum, such as OOPs, SPA, and Data Structures, are seen as industry-oriented.* Theory-practical imbalance: The curriculum is perceived as leaning towards theoretical knowledge over practical applications.* Industry readiness: Some students feel that the course curriculum adequately prepares them for industry requirements, while others express concerns about its effectiveness.Overall, while the course curriculum shows promise, it requires further refinement to strike a better balance between theoretical and practical knowledge, ultimately preparing students for successful careers in the industry.
