In order to gain admission to MIT Chennai, candidates seeking BTech programmes are required to take Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process after submitting their applications online. For the PG programmes, candidates must qualify through either the TANCET or GATE examinations, depending on the specific course requirements. PhD admissions at MIT Chennai requires that candidates successfully clear the NET examination.
