Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

    College and placements details.
Placements: The college places students well in CSE programs but not so well in ME and MAE, where the largest compensation package is approximately 60 Lacs. The main employers in the college are Infosys, Microsoft, HCL, Byju's, and many more. I believe that 60% or so of the students were placed last year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is subpar. These are standard classrooms. The air conditioning in the classroom is provided with a broken unit. With so many selections, the canteen is good. On campus, we often hold sports practices, although the field is in very poor shape.
Faculty: Every teacher has a Ph.D. and a substantial amount of classroom experience, making them highly qualified. I think the curriculum is well-aligned with society, and the institution gives students practical experience in a variety of labs equipped with a variety of equipment so they can study well.

    Good college, summing up everything.
Placements: For mechanical engineering, almost no campus placement are there in core jobs. But in other branches (CSE related) you can expect an average of INR 4-7 lpa. For core placements, do not expect more than INR 2 LPA. All the information is according to the seniors. For automation, I have heard you can get a good package if you get placed in merchant navy.
Infrastructure: Classes are okayish ( no air conditioning ). Overall infrastructure is good. Central library has a facility called book bank where you can invest INR 5k ( refundable ) for 4 years and get the book for your course. It has 4 floors and consists of most of the recommended books for your subjects.
Faculty: Teachers help you every time you visit them. Most of the faculty members though just come for teaching purpose only without any interaction that makes the class less interesting. You are also alloted a mentor who can help you with any issue. Curriculum though is not enough to make you job ready and you are yourself responsible, how much you upgrade yourself by learning new skills. Semester exams are of intermediate level. Easy to score 20+ out of 30, if you do not rely on studying one night before the exam.
Other: I chose this course as I want to go for higher studies related to this field. And the best college that I could get at my JEE Mains rank ( 4.6 Lacs ) was MAIT. I got it in spot round 2. Course can be improved if they update the syllabus according to recent skill demands. At the time of writing this review, there is no fest organised by MAIT, though there was one fest Anugoonj by main campus. For connectivity you have to take gramin seva ( rs 20 ) or electric/ normal auto rickshaw ( 30 rs. ) from rithala metro station to reach the campus, which takes approximately 10mins. For scholarship, I know only about E district scholarship called merit cum means that gets upto 100% concession in tuition fees. There are many societies, tech. and non tech. in the college to be a part of and open up your potential. For sports I have only seen a sort of barren ground for football ( or cricket ) adjacent to the basketball court.

Placement is not good for ME branch.
Placements: Students are well-placed in the CSE programs at the college, while placement rates in the ME and MAE programs are not as strong. The highest salary package is approximately 60 LPA, with principal employers including Byju's, Microsoft, HCL, and Infosys. About 60% of students were placed last year.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is adequate, with standard classrooms; however, the air conditioning system is often malfunctioning. The canteen offers a variety of options, and we frequently hold sports practices on campus, despite the poor condition of the field.
Faculty: The faculty at this institution is exceptional. Each teacher holds a Ph.D. and possesses extensive classroom experience, demonstrating their qualifications. The curriculum is well-aligned with societal needs, and the university provides students with valuable hands-on experience in well-equipped labs featuring a diverse range of equipment, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

All about MAIT, Everything is nice except higher fees of college. Faculty are awesome.
Placements: Usually 70% students get placement. The highest is 16 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum, average package is 4-5 Lacs per annum. Top companies are TATA group & Mahindra, & sometimes Maruti also. In our course students mostly did internships by their own, College didn't provide any internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice, classrooms are air conditioned, labs are well maintained and Library have enough books for each course. Hostel facilities are also good but someone can find it costly and hostel facility is only available till 2nd year of your course which is a drawback. Otherwise mess is average and all medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty are awesome, they teach very well, sometimes with 3d model if needed & they know how to teach well. Curriculum is also good, labs and subjects will definitely make us industry ready. Semester exams are not too easy and nor too difficult & passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I was interested in automobiles so I choose this course and I feel happy when we do practicals on engines in our labs. Point of improvement in the course could be the books because college charges 5000 for bookbank. Bus stand is few steps away from college but Rithala metro station is far you have to take rickshaw from there. Events & Fests happen on regular basis like once in a month.

The college has a mediocre infrastructure.
Placements: The college has good placement for CSE branches but not that much for ME and MAE, with the highest package of approximately 60 Lacs and the top recruiters being Infosys, Microsoft, HCL, Byju's, and many more. I think about 60% of students got placements last year.
Infrastructure: The college has mediocre infrastructure. The classrooms are normal classrooms. The classrooms are equipped with A.C. that do not work sometimes. The canteen is good with many options. We have sports practice regularly on the campus, but the ground is in very bad conditions.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good here. Every teacher is well qualified with a Ph.D. degree and a good amount of teaching experience. I believe the curriculum to be well oriented with society, and the college provides hands-on experience with their various labs having multiple machines for students to learn well.
