Its difficult to get MAIT 1st shift.
You'll get MAIT 2nd shift easily.
There is not much difference in 1st and 2nd shift except for the timing that too only 1 hr difference.
1st shift timings 9am to 4pm
2nd shift timings 10am to 5pm
You'll get MAIT 2nd shift easily.

You should opt for the branch of your interest.

The only way to get admission in MAIT with this rank will be management quota.
Other colleges which shall accept this rank will be MERI,Periyar,Gitarattan,Technia.
However they are not worthy enough.

No its really difficult to get MAIT with this rank. However if you still desperately want it you can try your luck in spot counseling. However I would not advice you to do the same. You can probably look for other colleges like banrsidas chand

Your chances are quite bright to get MAIT. Last year it was maximum 865.
If you still don't make it through. Then select DIAS. Its a good college too.
