B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2020

Their playground is huge, but their faculty is not good. They are very lazy faculty.
Placements: There must be only off-campus drives, as no companies come to the college. Only mechanical student drives happen. There is nothing positive about job opportunities; no jobs are provided, making it a total waste of time to be there. They do not provide proper placement knowledge.
Infrastructure: The desks are good, but the walls are in bad condition, and some classroom projectors are not working, which disrupts student study as most studies rely on projectors. Only the stars are good, and there should be a lift for disabled people, which would be useful.
Faculty: There must be an organised monthly exam, leaving no time for students to study. The faculty is also lazy, creating a lot of mess in real life. The faculty does not provide proper study material about the subject; they only read from the projector, and that's it, nothing special.
Other: You have to learn a lot of things about teaching, what's new, and how we can develop something new that is useful for the nation and our growth.

Average College fees.
Placements: The College is good in terms of fee. No fests are organised in this college and There is always a shortage of faculty in the college. You have to find internships yourself in this type of college. Not much companies visit this college. So it is better to do things yourself if you are taking admission in this college.
Infrastructure: Labs are good labs have monitor to use and Wi-Fi is available only to the lab pcs's. Library is also Good. The classrooms are average. Sports is not organised in this college, Not Good for extra curricular activities No games and sports day is there.
Faculty: Good in term of completing syllabus but not much practical knowledge is given to the students. Teachers are qualified but there is always a shortage of teachers and teachers teach well but in labs no teacher teaches anything. You just have to do whatever you want in the labs.

My honest review about my college.
Placements: Placement is average in the college. Around 70-80% of students typically get placed. The highest package offered is 17-18 LPA, while the lowest is 4-5 LPA. Several companies visit for recruitment. For internships, students need to apply on their own. The training and placement cell ensures maximum efforts for student placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is available but not accessible to students. Labs are present, with a few equipped with ACs. Classrooms are average, and there's a library. Though hostels are available, they remain unoccupied, so opting for nearby PGs is recommended.
Faculty: The teachers are highly supportive, motivating, and inspirational. They are well-qualified, with some holding PhDs. The teaching quality is good, and the courses are relevant; however, students need to stay focused. Semester exams tend to be challenging, and AKTU's evaluation is stringent, leading to many students facing setbacks in their exams.

I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: High percentage of placements are provided in this college. Our college is in Noida Sector 62 which is a hub of software. Many companies visit our college to hire students. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, HCL, Byjus, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good but the exterior of the buildings is not good. Wi-Fi is provided at a very good speed. Computer labs are air-conditioned. Library is very good to study without any disturbance. Canteen is very good and serves snacks at good prices.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. Our college is affiliated to AKTU. Semester exams are tough but not if students study well.
Other: Our college provides the best engineering education at low fees. Our campus should maintain cleanliness. Many events are not organised in our college. Freshers party is also not held in our college.

Life In Mgm Coet Noida with experience.
Placements: Almost every year 75% students got the placement from campus. The highest package is almost 8 Lacs per year and the minimum package is 2.25 Lacs per year. The top recruiter company is oracle and small companies. Internship factor is very low in college student take internship from itself.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in college all AC computer labs and classroom are so good and the college have good library and provide wi-fi in computer labs. The hostel quality is not in this college, no more than 6-7 students take hostel in this college and the food is outside the campus student take itself. Sports and game week are organized every year for the students for entertainment and health prospectus. Medical facilities are so good.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified in this college and his teaching experience are great and explain very well and his knowledge is great in his subject. Teaching quality is also good, amazing knowledge they provide. Yes, the course is relevant, and they provide industry courses for students to get successful. The semester exam is quite difficult but after studding its looks easy.
Other: Choose this course for doing my engineering in computer Science and the best thing is affordable fees and the course structure are osm. The only thing about this course to improve is the exam held every week for knowing the student status. Fest and event are organized on special occasions in the campus and students takes part in activities. There is only one scholarship in college for the student who take admission from entrance exams. Many extra curriculum activity are also organized in college.

MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Noida Review - Feels, admission, placements.
Placements: The placements are there but you may not like it because students of CS always wonder about high packages and that's not the case here you get very limited options to get placed mostly are fresh startup companies which offer very less packages but its still a good thing that you don't need very high skills, so its good for those who have minimal skillset, additional you can try of campus and take guidance from the college, many students are placed of campus in very good packages from our college. The packages are mostly like - the highest 6-8 LPA, Average 4 LPA and the lowest 2.5 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Let's talk about the academic block infrastructure. The overall infrastructure is good, and there are almost all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi in every lab and throughout the college. The academic block and labs are well-maintained. There is a library where you can get any book you need to study effectively (the late fine is minimal, ₹5/day). The campus has a huge playground where you can play sports, spend time with friends, and engage in other activities. Medical facilities are also available. However, the hostels remain closed. I don't know why there is a hostel, but no one stays there. Officials say that the college is next to a metro station, so most students commute daily as mainly local students study here. Therefore, I can't comment on the hostel since I have never seen it open. As for the canteen, it is available and you can get food at a much cheaper rate than at outside stalls.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful; most of them have Ph.D. degrees, and the rest have Master's degrees in engineering-related fields. They have years of teaching experience and teach effectively, but the effectiveness may vary from student to student. For me, most teachers teach well, though their level can be a bit advanced, so you need to keep an open mind to gain the knowledge. The curriculum is about 10 to 15 years old and is similar to the AKTU syllabus. Most universities have the same syllabus, so while it helps build a strong foundation, it has limitations regarding the latest technologies. However, if you enroll in AI, ML, or similar courses, the curriculum is up-to-date. The semester exams are average—not as difficult as those in CBSE but not as easy. You need to score at least 30 marks out of 100 in external theory, 30 marks out of 50 in internal theory, and 60% in practicals to pass the semester.
Other: The course I chose because I have a great interest in Computer Science, and the best part of this course is that you can learn it anytime from anywhere, and you can do practical work anytime from anywhere—you just need a PC and internet. The improvement I suggest is that the course should be more practical, as it is mostly theoretical. You have to implement the practical concepts theoretically, which is very challenging. The crowd is not as large as in other colleges, but it gets crowded during exam days. Connectivity is excellent, and the campus surroundings are better than those at other colleges. You can get a scholarship if you come through JEE Main counseling. The events and fests are very limited; they focus mainly on academics. You can expect to encounter mostly two fests in a year, and extracurricular activities are also limited.
