There is B category in these top colleges where they take students based on JEE marks. But make sure you apply it early. If you belong to BC, you can get in top 15 colleges. If you belong to SC or ST, you can get in top 5 colleges. In India, reservation plays the major role.

Both Amity University Gwalior and MITS Gwalior are reputable institutions that offer computer science engineering programs. However, determining which one is "best" for CSE depends on various factors and individual preferences. Here are some aspects to consider when making a decision:
1. Accreditation and Recognition: Check whether the universities are recognized by the appropriate governing bodies and accredited by reputable organizations. Accreditation ensures that the institutions meet certain quality standards in terms of education and infrastructure.
2. Curriculum and Course Structure: Review the curriculum and course offerings of both universities. Look for a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum that covers the essential topics and technologies relevant to computer science. Consider factors like flexibility in choosing electives and specializations that align with your interests and career goals.
3. Faculty and Research Opportunities: Research the qualifications and expertise of the faculty members in the computer science department. Experienced and knowledgeable faculty can greatly enhance the learning experience. Additionally, check if the universities provide research opportunities or collaborations with industries that can offer practical exposure and skill development.
4. Infrastructure and Facilities: Consider the infrastructure and facilities available at both institutions. This includes computer labs, libraries, access to technology, campus Wi-Fi, and other resources that contribute to a conducive learning environment.
5. Placements and Industry Connections: Look into the placement records and the university's industry connections. Check the companies that visit for campus placements and the average salary packages offered to CSE graduates. Alumni networks and industry tie-ups can also provide valuable networking opportunities and job prospects.
6. Student Life and Extracurricular Activities: Consider the overall student life experience and the extracurricular activities available at each university. Look into clubs, societies, and events related to computer science or your other interests. A vibrant campus life can contribute to personal growth and development outside of academics.
7. Location and Cost: Consider the location of the universities and whether it suits your preferences and convenience. Also, evaluate the tuition fees and other expenses associated with studying at each institution.
It is advisable to visit the official websites of both universities, read reviews and testimonials, and even try to connect with current students or alumni to get more insights. Ultimately, choose the university that aligns with your academic and career goals, offers a supportive learning environment, and provides the resources and opportunities necessary for your personal and professional growth.
