Yes, for Diploma students, we have lateral entry which allows direct admission to 2nd year. You'll find the required forms and further information about the same at the official website of Manipal University.

I might sound harsh, but I will be honest. Recently most companies are going for core companies. However, it might be in all the colleges, but now most of the companies ask for mechanical engineers instead of automobile engineers. Even core automobile companies like Maruti Suzuki prefer mechanical engineers. So, I would suggest, that if you are too much into automobile, take mechanical engineering and later take up automobile engineering for your Masters.
