It is a very good college in its respective tier.
Placements: Our college placement is good compared to colleges in the same tier. Numerous companies have been visiting our college even during the recession. Many students are also getting placed. Top recruiters are mainly from the IT sector, such as TCS.
Infrastructure: One of the main key factors of our college is its infrastructure. It blends well with nature and is also sustainable. College hostels are good but not the best. Our college has full Wi-Fi connectivity. There is also a great track for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are okay. Some are great, while others are not. APJKTU, our university, also lacks a timely schedule for semester exams and related activities. Course curriculum is good and prepares students to be industry-ready. Semesters are a little hard as well.

Life at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
Placements: Normally, mechanical engineering has low placements, but here almost 50% of students have been placed in the past couple of years. All companies are providing placements. Most mechanical students wish to be placed in the IT field because of the trend. Most students get medium placements, with salary packages around 3 LPA-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connections are provided by the college, along with high-quality lab facilities. Classrooms are good and clean. There is a central library and a department library for mechanical students. We have a canteen with lots of delicious food. Hostel facilities are very good, with nice infrastructure. Near the hostel, there is a large ground for sports and cricket practice nets. There is an indoor stadium for other sports. Almost everything is much better than others.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly graduated from IITs, NITs, and other prestigious institutions. Everyone is good and has a friendly mindset. They provide full freedom and a good future for our entire life. This is an autonomous college, so it has the right to conduct exams at any time, and the exam pattern and other curriculum are decided by college management. But, it mostly follows the KTU syllabus and exam pattern now.

A review of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
Placements: My batch is good, but there has been a gradual decrease in placements since I joined this college. Top recruiting companies like Bosch, Ascender, etc. offer at least 5-8 LPA based on the student's skills. However, I must say that the placements are just okay.
Infrastructure: The quality is just okay for the hostel and faculty members. There are other colleges that provide better infrastructure and hostel facilities. However, the faculty members are highly talented. In these circumstances, I would not recommend anyone join this college. Nevertheless, the college is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and talented, having graduated from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They also teach the curriculum relevantly and make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good, and the pass percentage is also satisfactory.

A review by an average student.
Placements: The placement cell is active enough, and a lot of students are placed recently from college. Mechanical engineering and computer science engineering students are placed the most. Companies including TCS, Tata Motors, L&T, etc., are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, but a firewall is installed. We cannot access most of the apps and websites, and the speed is also very low. A Wi-Fi fee of 1000 rupees is charged. Some of the buildings are very old, and some are under construction. Machines are also old.
Faculty: Mechanical engineering faculty are polite compared to other departments. The college is very strict, not good for enjoying the college vibes and freedom. It is better to choose government colleges for that. I don't like my college. It is likely to feel like studying in a private college with some exceptions.
Other: If you like to enjoy college life and freedom, choose any other government college. If you like to focus on academics, this is the best option.

MACE review - better future with average fun.
Placements: Excellent on-campus training and placement. Placement drives begin at the start of the seventh semester. There are various companies with different eligibility criteria, like SOTI, Kalkitech, Keyvalue, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elxsi, and TCS. Students get placed depending on their branch. Placements are best for branches like CS, EC, MECH, and CIVIL.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is just satisfactory. The food provided is somewhat good. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are no attached toilets in any of the rooms. It is a little difficult to get admission to the college hostel.
Faculty: There is one faculty advisor for each class of 60 students. In my class, there are 60 students and another 6 who came through lateral entry. The teachers are approachable. The college provides a good learning environment. The teachers are a little strict. The teachers' approach is not that good. They react to students based on their mood, and how can teachers do this kind of thing to students? Whenever we try to ask permission for something, they refuse without even reading or listening to our request. But their style of teaching and providing notes is good. Their approach toward special classes.

Not-so-great placement or infrastructure.
Placements: The overall placement is not good; there is an average package of 2.5 lacs per year. There is a placement cell in the college but it is not very active and the placement rate is below average, which is to say, only 55 percent of the students get placed.
Infrastructure: There is the average infrastructure of the college; it only provides the basic amenities, to say, the basic room, which has no attached washroom facility but there are common washrooms on each floor, and along with that, there is a medical facility where we have a doctor.
Faculty: The faculty is good; they try to help students as much as possible but there are quite a few facilities but a lot more students because trying to have a personal connection with them is quite difficult because they are already occupied a lot. The curriculum is designed nicely.
