Good college with all facilities.
Placements: My B.Sc career started from 2014 to 2017. I pursued a course in B.Sc Polymer Chemistry. 1. In my class, there were only 10 boys and 27 girls. 2. My semester fees were like - 7500 (for 6 months). Biotechnology (32000) BBA (37000) 3. There were no recruitment agencies for me because it was a government-affiliated college, and seats were allotted through allocation. 4. About 3 or 4 boys got placements at CIPET (Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology). 5. If one studies polymer chemistry, they can apply for a job at ISRO because there is a special wing for plastic and polymer manufacturing.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are excellent. As a Polymer Chemistry student, our primary area is the chemical lab, which is exceptionally well-equipped. Additionally, there is a reference library available, along with Wi-Fi accessibility. The classes are kept neat and clean, and the canteen provides quality food throughout the day from 8 AM to 5 PM. Moreover, there are well-maintained volleyball, badminton, and football grounds on campus.
Faculty: The teaching quality in our department is quite good. Our head of the department is an obedient person who clarifies all our doubts without any hesitation. The class teacher is also very supportive, and all are knowledgeable and qualified for teaching. Polymer Chemistry is a good choice for our future. We use plastics and polymers everywhere in our everyday lives. Polymer Chemistry is a slightly tough subject because we have to study a lot of chemical names and their relations, etc. If you are interested in it, then it's an interesting subject to study. Almost all students, except 2 or 3, dropped their career halfway through.
Other: 1. I chose this course based on my previous exams and interests. I was interested in Science subjects. If we study this course, we can work in every field because in every field, we use plastics, polymers, etc. So, for jobs, there's no need to worry. 2. I think all are good. In our college, M.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry is also available. So, we can study more after B.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry. 3. College life is a different feeling. I enjoyed it a lot. All types of events are inaugurated in our college.
