    A:
    {Source: BBA students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

    * Good faculty: Most students agree that the faculty members are experienced and well-trained in their fields, although a few mention that some professors may struggle with classroom engagement.

    * Well-structured curriculum: The college has a well-designed curriculum that keeps up with industry trends and covers essential topics.

    * Excellent placement records: Almost every student who applies for placements secures a job, with an average package ranging from INR3-INR5 Lacs per annum. Well-known companies like TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, and others recruit students from MCC.

    * Infrastructure: While some areas, like the lack of WiFi on-campus, might require improvement, students generally appreciate the college's pleasant environment and good-quality hostels.

    * Campus life: Students praise the liberal atmosphere, various clubs, and events that foster a sense of community and enjoyment.

    * Cost-effective: The fees are relatively low (around INR1.5 Lacs for three years), making it a valuable investment.

However, some students did mention a few drawbacks:

    * Limited WiFi access: As mentioned earlier, WiFi is limited within the college premises.

    * Food quality: While the food in the hostels is good, some students felt that the quality could be improved.

Overall, considering the excellent placement records, well-structured curriculum, and cost-effectiveness, pursuing a BBA at MCC Chennai seems like a worthwhile choice for aspiring business professionals.

MCC is best known for its environment and placement opportunities.
Placements: MCC has a really good placement record, with almost every student who applies for placements being able to secure a position. A minimum of 60% is required to attend placements. The average package ranges between 3-5 LPA. Companies like TCS, NIQ, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, Accenture, Barclays, Natwest, etc., visit MCC for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MCC is good, providing students with a pleasant environment to study and enjoy their college life. However, Wi-Fi is not provided for students on campus. MCC has 3 hostels for men and women, each with the capacity of 170 rooms. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels. The food in the hostels is of high quality and maintained properly.
Faculty: The faculty members at MCC are experienced and well-trained in their respective fields. However, there are some faculty members who are not proficient in classroom participation and lesson delivery. MCC offers a well-structured course curriculum that is updated regularly to align with recent trends and ensures students learn all required content.
Other: MCC is ranked 6th in India for Bachelor of Business Administration. I chose MCC because of this ranking and because MCC initiated the first open college cultural fest in Asia called Deepwoods. MCC also has several clubs for students to explore and excel in different fields. Scholarships are available for specific groups of students and those with single parents. The food products in the canteen are reasonably priced, but there is room for improvement in food quality. MCC has a unique campus environment with several trees and plants, creating a better environment for students to enjoy college life. The liberal rules make students feel comfortable.

Satisfied with staff and got placed in a company.
Placements: Our experience in the course was great. We had subjects in our course to boost our skills to survive in the real world. Tally, CPM, live project, and many more were included in our course. Myself and my friends got placed in many companies including Accenture, Wipro and so on.
Infrastructure: Our college is in a huge campus with about 320 acres. With trees it looks cool and it will be perfect for anyone. Classroom and hostels were maintained in the same form it was built. With its own tradition, every hostels are good. We had lab facilities to help us in learning more things. And library is perfect for any book lover where you can find everything you need.
Faculty: Our staff were well qualified with relevant information about the course. They help us in many ways both professionally and personally. They give me importance to education, sports and extracurricular activities. We got many events to showcase our talents.

The placements for the 2019 batch were excellent.
Placements: The BBA department is very good in terms of placements. Many companies visit our college. For an average student with decent marks, it's easy to get placed in these companies. I got placed with 4 LPA package in Capgemini as an HR analyst. This was the highest package as far as I know. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Wipro, etc., are some well-known companies that come here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not that great. It has the same old buildings. The college doesn't even provide cold water during summer. It gets very hot even inside the classes during summer. We don't have Wi-Fi facility for students. The canteen is very good. The library is average because there's no mobile network connectivity in the library, and it's really hot inside the library. The hostel is good, but there's some issue with ragging. Hostel food is very good. If you are in a hostel, you get to participate in many events, and you also get to know many people. You can develop a special bond with them.
Faculty: In my department, the teachers are really good. It depends upon how you adjust to different teachers. There were some teachers from other departments who used to be partial. In my department, the teachers are good, but there is a teacher in my department who doesn't respect students.
Other: MCC has a good name, and you can't get such good education at this fee anywhere else. The fee is very affordable. I paid around 1.5 Lacs for my entire 3-year course, and on top of that, they also give scholarships based on the need of students.

Review of MCC - Madras Christian College.
Placements: The college has good placements record. Some companies like HCL, Cognizant, Uber, etc., visit our college for placements. It also provides diploma courses. It has a good name, which helps the students to get good placements in a good company.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 1200 acres in which 700 acres is provided to airforce. The college is 183 years old, and they are built by Scotties people. The campus is lush green with a lot of trees. On the campus, you can't see the sun easily due to the ancient trees.
Faculty: Teachers in our college have good knowledge. They teach us what life is all about. They are very professional. There is a connection between student and teacher, but outside we don't have any connection. They give importance to our personal life.
Other: There are a lot of people from all over India and abroad. Cultural events organised at our college are the best than any other colleges in India. The college gives more importance to extracurricular activities than studies.

Madras Christian College is a 182 year old legend which still continues to nurture culture.
Placements: MCC clearly has a very strong value when it comes to placements. Some companies provide salary packages which MBA students get from a normal college. MCC has a very good reputation in the corporate world. MCC's curriculum is based on corporate needs, and they keep changing their subjects based on the current and expected demands from the corporate companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MCC is heavenly. It's a bliss to go every day to MCC. Very nature emphasising infrastructure built in Portuguese style, we have amazing classrooms, very entertaining and vibrant classrooms. Lectures will be given using presentations for theoretical classes. In the chemistry department, they have an amazing lab built by the very honourable Indira Nooyi, former CEO of Pepsico. The whole campus is built in a forest so you can find very soothing and peaceful environment. MCC is legendary, and there are no arguments about it.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and very enthusiastic. Faculty coordination is very important for students to perform and to be groomed as a citizen too. MCC provides a highly knowledgeable and supportive set of faculty members. The course curriculum is based on the demands of the corporate world as I have mentioned before. So the course curriculum changes every year according to the demands to be as updated as possible.
Other: MCC is not a normal college where you go and learn only the courses and get a degree. MCC has much more to offer. MCC has 182 years of legacy and still continues. MCC is a very classic college with so much history and wonders in it. The campus is beautiful and once you get in you won't want to leave this college. The nature the college provides and the fresh breeze and a very dynamic set of art and culture the provides is amazing. MCC is very comforting, has open arms always to those who are into arts. Not only the course, but it also gives immense importance to nature, arts have a lot of opportunities to people who are interested in music, dance and literature. Sports is on another level too. There's a really fascinating sports area for every kind of sport and the students are on fire when it comes to sports. People are from very diverse culture and from different parts of the world. You can find people from outside India who come here for education. It has a very dynamic culture from other colleges. I can't compare other colleges to MCC.

A satisfying experience. Definitely a place to find your inner dimension.
Placements: Placements are very limited for BBA students in MCC as you get either BPO roles or finance based roles. Companies like Ernst and Young, IBM, Sutherland, Cognizant and Accenture, are major recruiters. The intake for them from BBA also are mainly 2-3 students per role. In our batch, only 17 students got placed out of 150 students which shows how poor the batch and their training. Many cannot clear the rounds as they are not trained well in soft skills and how to conduct themselves in an interview. The investment is very high and you can grab the highest salary package on the campus which is 4 LPA. For better placements B.Com is the best for it.
Infrastructure: Considering the college has been existent for 177 years, most of the classrooms are quite dated or very old with wall paint peeling off to the tables written and scratched completely. Even the fans are broken or barely work. Some of the seats are broken at times. The poor infrastructure is mainly because of low fees. However, they have the best lush green campus with varied flora and fauna along with canteens with pretty inedible food.
Faculty: There was only one teacher who had a PhD, and he was the head of the department by the name of Armstrong Doss. Though he is unbearable to listen to, he was the only consistent teacher who looked after the welfare of the students and also made the classes very lively with his case studies and examples. Another teacher who is extremely quite active and very jovial with his flair for engaging us in classes is Tony Sir. They are the best in the department or in college perhaps for how well they teach us. Though with good faculty comes really bad ones but the good outweighs the bad in this scenario. The course curriculum is quite up to date with some good subjects from all sections of management.
Other: The campus crowd is quite varied with a majority Malayali crowd along with many from North India. MCC being extremely lenient on the rules, one can find opportunities in every nook and corner. The college strongly supports extracurricular activities. Deepwoods is one of the best festivals by MCC though it has quite fallen in standards over the years. It still does a good job in engaging and inviting quite a lovely crowd.
