Both of these are premier institutions for arts and science courses. They are widely preferred by many students as they are top ranked ones.
But when we compare MCC and Ethiraj, MCC is better.
The college is affiliated to the University of Madras but functions as an autonomous institution (deemed university) from its campus in Tambaram, Chennai. MCC has several civil servants, administrators, educators, business people and political leaders, around the world among its professors and alumni. It is accredited by NAAC. It is Ranked 6 for Arts by The Week and Ranked 7 for science by India Today.
The student reviews are also really good which is one of the important criteria for the selection of a good college.

The Madras Christian College (MCC) is far better than KIIT for BBA. Here are few reasons for this:
1. The Madras Christian College (MCC) is a liberal arts and sciences college in Madras. The college was established in 1837 which is one of the oldest colleges in Asia so there must be some reason that's why this college is running since last two centuries.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) department at Madras Christian College is ranked among the top BBA departments across India.
3. Being amid the flora and fauna, the campus is an experience in itself with 365 acres of nature cover. Also, one can get to interact and become friends with plenty of students from other states and countries.
4. College fests will help students to know about themselves and giving a lot of exposure to them. If a student willing to transform himself into a good person then without any doubt MCC is the place for that.
