You have not mentioned your category. So, if I treated you as OBC, above 550 is safe. If unreserved category means above 580 to 600 is safe.

For B.E / B. Tech course , the cut-off mark required for a seat in P.S.G. College of Technology is pretty much on the higher side. Exact marks required for each department varies each year but Maalini Kumaran 's answer roughly gives you the range. As pointed out, the Category you belong to, is a deciding factor.
However , for M.Sc 5 year integrated courses , the admissions are not merely based on the cut-off marks scored in your 12th exams. The department usually conducts an interview to select the candidates. Though your 12th marks are given some weight-age (usually, less), importance is given to your understanding of concepts.
Personally I feel that the MSc courses are well- structured and the placements are also in par with the B.E/B.Tech students.

The previous years cut offs have been lesser but cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no. Of Candidates appearing for the exam, no. Of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. A score of 500-550 will get you a seat easily. Thanks and best of luck.

Hello, As you have mentioned that your NEET score is 228 marks and you fall under the SC category and you want admission in B.A. MS college. It is very difficult to determine cut off marks for any colleges in a state before exams beacuse it depends on several factors. If you look at the trends of the cut off scores over the last 2 years, you'll understand that the cut off scores have only increased with time. For private colleges try to score 370+ and for government colleges try to score 430+
So, looking over this scenario your chances to get any government or private B.A. MS college is negligible. It is not so easy to predict your rank beacuse it is changing every year. I prefer you to try for other private medical colleges with some other course or you may try for the private colleges which do not require NEET marks for admission. I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box. Good luck.

At this score in NEET UG you can expect admission in lots of good private medical colleges of different states. Before taking part in counseling, kindly make sure that you are eligible for that state, because there are lots of states which are not open. To increase chances of your admission you can apply more than one state and you must also try some good deemed medical colleges if you are ready to pay the fee.
