All about MIET before taking admission
Placements: Placements are average. Some students will get good packages, while some will get recruited by mass recruiters. After talking to various seniors, placements are average. There are not so many opportunities, but not so few opportunities either. The competition will be very high, as approximately 1200 students pass out each year, and every student wants a placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is weird. The canteen has no place to sit while eating. The lab has almost every piece of equipment but not trained lab assistants to assist students. The hostel food is so bad that students prefer to drink water or eat outside and forget about sports. If you are playing, then teachers will come and complain to your department about you as discipline defaulters.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, and some teachers are okay, but some teachers are the worst. They will open the presentation and stand there, but they don't even bother to read the presentation. The curriculum is relevant to the industry, but some subjects are just useless.
Other: You will get fests every 3-4 months, and they are decent.

All about MIET - Know everything about MIET.
Placements: 1. Currently I am in my 4th (just entered). So if I talk about last year placement, so around 60% of students were placed. 2. The lowest package was 3 LPA, and the highest package last year was 11.5 LPA. 3. Recruiting companies are HCl, Wipro, Deloitte, TCS, and many more. 4. 50% of students got internships in various domains like web development, Ml/AI, and software engineering. 5. Top roles are software engineer, web developer, data analyst, and IOT engineer.
Infrastructure: 1. Faculty members are well educated, mostly Ph.D. 2. Wi-Fi are available in every block. 3. Classroom study include projector. 4. Good quality food is available with proper hygiene. There are three types of rooms available: double, triple, and single.
Faculty: 4 exams were conducted in one semester: 2 sessional exams, each 60 marks per subject, and 1 pre-university exam of 100 marks. After this last one is the semester exam, which is 100 marks. It's a well-designed curriculum, and the ratio of theory and practical is 50-50.
Other: I chose this course because it helped me achieve my dream job as a software engineer. The best part of this course is that after completing it, you will be the part of technology using around us; you are familiar with the back story behind the technology you are using.

Worth taking admission in campus.
Placements: There are no such companies for which we are preparing. Most of the companies offer low packages as they are mass recruiters. Students have to suffer a lot to get their dream job, as the college academics are not helping on the placement grounds.
Infrastructure: There are various labs, but most of the lab assistants are not trained to handle advanced levels of research work. The canteen area doesn't even have chairs to sit on, so you must stand with a table to eat something. The mess food is so weird that most students prefer to drink water rather than eat the mess food.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are studying the subjects forcefully, as they are out of their field, by providing notes from the authorities. This creates a gap in the system, resulting in a lack of proper understanding of the subject. The curriculum is oriented only towards the end semester, not from a placement point of view.
Other: Various fests and events are organized; most of them are by student teams, while some are annual events like Kolhaal, in which every year some celebrities are invited to perform at the event.

Infrastructure is decent. Placement is also good. Hostel facilities are also good.
Placements: Placement at MIET is decent. It all depends on students' skills. If you have superior, extraordinary skills, you will get a good package. On my campus, the average package is 4.5 LPA. Many students have secured internships and placements from MIET. The highest package is 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: MIET's infrastructure is decent with around 7 buildings. It consists of two canteens, including an Italian Bistro, and a good garden. There are 4 grounds and courts for various games. Several good companies visit every year. Hostel facilities are good, with around 60,000 hostel fees per year, including all.
Faculty: Faculty members at MIET are experienced with good qualifications. Teachers are very helpful and understanding. The passing percentage is 33. You can get admission through two ways: one is through JEE Main, and the other is through direct admission. If you opt for direct admission, there is a limited time for the process.
Other: The college has a good crowd, around 1000 students in the whole B.Tech program. There are many events and fests held in the MIET campus. Connectivity is good. You also have access to good scholarship opportunities.

A guide to surviving MIET.
Placements: Placement opportunities are limited; its not in percent; its accountable on fingers. The average package is 3 lacs per annum. Most placements are service- or marketing-related. Internships are available and can be self-obtainable. Overall, depend on yourself.
Infrastructure: The facilities are just okay. Wi-Fi? What is the use of that in engineering college? Classrooms are decent. Labs are good but you can not sit there anytime or do anything on your own. There are two libraries: one is central and one is in the building. The capacity is decent. Hostel, well, I am not well versed in that. I only heard that they are just basic .
Faculty: Faculty are masters at reading notes. Well, there are some good teachers but most are just for the completion of the syllabus. The curriculum is designed to make you question your life choices. Exams are there as a monthly reminder that learning is a myth. Just speed-run the syllabus, write memorization or even cheat and pass it.
