Hi Kalyani,
The placements were good enough until last year, this year only 1 or 2 big companies came, whereas other smaller companies came in good numbers. TCS comes every year. Big companies usually offer around Rs 5-6 lakhs. Smaller ones off

You can get through but it depends on the college cutoff. Keep a check for the CAP rounds.

Are there any chances of getting in MET with 90.37 percentile in CET for MMS even in last CAP rounds?

Last year this wasn't the cutoff, however, they might roll out seats for vacancy against cancellation. 90 percentile last year got through in that.

MET PGDM is always better than MMS in terms of everything but you will spend entire day on campus. Average package you can get is Rs 5 lakhs pa and intake is 120 students.

How is MET for PGDM in marketing in terms of placements? What is the intake of students?

You can expect average package of Rs 5 lakhs per annum and if you have work experience then it can go upto Rs 9-10 lakhs per annum. Not everyone gets such high package. Total intake for PGDM is 120 students.

PGDM admission is more dependent on GD and PI. I would suggest you to visit the college and inquire about admission form.

Hi,
Mumbai is always a better option as compared to Pune because of more corporates being present and it being the commercial and financial capital of India. So better internships and placements are there in Mumbai.
a) MITSOT, Pune only specialises in telecom (which as a sector isn't doing too great) so they give very limited industry interface.
b) MET, Mumbai was good till a few years back. However, in the past couple of years, they are facing issues because of the trust problems and placements have also got affected. They have a very large intake which is good for campus life but not so good for education & placement quality. It is located in Bandra which is great for showbiz and glamour but not too many companies are located there.
c) Athena, Mumbai is located in Hiranandani Gardens, Powai which is a corporate hub. They have a very good placement record and have multiple internships. It also has tie-ups with international universities. Many students have got Pre-Placement Offers within their 1st semester.
So in the following parameters: -
1) Location-Athena = MET and MITSOT
2) Internships-Athena, MET and MITSOT
3) Campus-MET, Athena and MITSOT
4) Placements-Athena, MET and MITSOT
5) Faculty-Athena, MITSOT and MET
6) International Tieups-Athena, MET and MITSOT
7) Corporate Exposure-Athena, MET and MITSOT
8) Student Quality-Athena, MET and MITSOT
Hope this helps.
