Virtually any place can give you a degree in marketing. Undergraduate colleges will teach you the foundation elements, internships/work experience at junior levels will give you hands-on experience into the execution bit but an MBA teaches you to think and act strategically. The better the school, the stronger your grasp on the same. If you haven't heard much about MICA then let me give you a quick intro. MICA was established by the stalwarts of the Indian Advertising industry in the late 80s-early 90s with the flagship PGP qualifying as an MBA in Strategic Marketing and Communications recognised by AICTE. While the initial aim of the institute was to churn out competent advertising industry professionals (the ones working in the business side of things and not the creative aspects), it eventually broadened into providing a holistic marketing course, much akin to how Ad agencies have become these days-playing more of a role of a Marketing Consultant. The difference between a MICA and an IIM is that at MICA, you will learn marketing in far greater depth than in any other college. Typically, what other colleges will teach in the 2nd year of their programs, MICA will teach you in the first year itself. The second year is all about gaining an in-depth understanding with a plethora of electives/advanced courses/dissertation choices churning out specialists in marketing.

Both the colleges are a good option. But NMIMS still stands and will always stand above MICA.
