Miranda House University of Delhi North Campus Answered Questions

Hi,
So, I took a little help from someone pursuing Music Hons at Miranda House. This was her answer-
So basically yes Miranda House offers a course in Music but our classes are not held in the college. We don't even have our music department in Miranda House. All the classes are held in Delhi University's Faculty of Music and Fine arts. We only have AECC and GE classes in Miranda. And talking about the career placements, Music is an art. Our career is based on what we are learning and how good are our singing skills. So, it only offers us a degree in Music but to make a career in the same, it is our practice, our dedication, the struggle to prove ourselves in the music Industry, and ofcourse luck that makes us a good singer. To be eligible, you need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate and must have music as one of the mandatory subjects. The aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects (music including) would be considered as best four subjects (BFS). Those who have learned music for a minimum of 3 years from a recognized institute.
