However, in 2022 the number of placements was comparatively higher and the count stood at 491. Over the past three years, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the total number of placements made. The following types of candidates are given reservations by the institute: People with disabilities (PwD), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)Following is a breakdown of the percentage of seats assigned to each category:OBC: 27%SC: 15%ST: 7.5%PwD: 3%EWS: 10%Every candidate can compete for the remaining 46% of the seats.The following requirements must be met by applicants in order to be eligible for seat reservations:They must meet the prerequisites for the course they want to apply for and be members of the reserved group.
