The B.Tech admissions process at MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research (MITCORER) is merit-based and adheres to the regulations set forth by the AICTE and DTE Maharashtra. Candidates must have earned at least 50% of their possible points (45% for restricted categories) in their 10+2 or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational courses as core courses.Candidates must be eligible to take entrance tests at the state or national level, such as MHT CET or JEE Main. Candidates register, complete the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and are assigned seats according to their preferences and merit. For qualified candidates, direct admissions may also be possible under institute-level quotas.
