For General category candidates, the qualifying marks for UGC NET are 40% aggregate in both papers. For PWD/SC/ST/OBC and Transgender candidates, it's 35% aggregate in both papers. The PET qualifying cut off marks are found to be 60 - 65 for General category and around 58 for OBC category. If the candidate get more than 40% Marks in the PET Exam then he or she will be considered qualified in the entrance exam. The minimum passing marks are required for admission too.
