The college doesn't conduct any entrance exams  but it considered the scores of exams like JEE., CET and other regional exams sometimes when there is less amount of seats remaining then in that cases very rarely does the college take some basic tests otherwise they just compare the boards and other exams scores/percentile.

The total number of seats at MIT School of Engineering Pune for the M.Tech programme range from 300-500 per year and the figure just keep raising each year.
