Instead of a specialisation subject, the students will get to choose major and minor subjects. Around 50% of credits (80 credits) will be awarded for the courses related to the students major and around 20 credits will be given for the minor subject. There will also be a variety of ability enhancement courses, skills enhancement courses and value-added courses. You will be able to opt for either research or advanced courses worth 12 credits. Accordingly, the student will be awarded either B.A. (Honours) English with research or B.A. (Honours) English. Internship will also be a compulsory component of the programme structure.
