B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2019

Good college for computer Science engineering.
Placements: From the 6th semester or after 3rd year, students are eligible for placement. Various companies visiting every year except covid period, like Gram power, Tech Mahindra, Bharat pay, Mindtree, etc. Are visit during the placement to recruit students direct from college campus. Average package offered 3 to 5 Lacs per annum or more.
Infrastructure: No, I have opted hostel because I am a local resident of this city. But my friends live in hostels and PGs. Their rent is approximately 5000 rupees per month. The PGs are nearby the college like dadabari, mahaveer Nagar and jawahar Nagar. Facilities like classrooms, labs and library are good as expected.
Faculty: The faculty members in this college are so humble and helpful to the students. All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method is very easy to understand. All are experts in their subjects. The semester exams are taken on time and their difficulty level is also intermediate.

It is a very good college to study with good environment and supportive teachers.
Placements: Those students who score 75% were placed. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA, the average salary package offered was almost 3 LPA to 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was almost 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. Recruitment companies were Mahindra, Tata, India Mart, etc. Those students who score 70% got internships in thermal and railway workshops.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library, labs, and classrooms were fine. The cultural activities were too good. Wi-Fi was too fast to download. The library was too good to learn everything. Almost every book related to this field are available and the labs were fine to learn the topic.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. For students, this college was too good. If you study properly then any semester exam is not tough for you. The pass percentage was almost 70%. Almost 80-85% of students passed the semester exam.
Other: The event, fest, campus crowd, scholarship, and all facilities are available.

Not a good college. But it is just good for a degree.
Placements: 10–15% of students were placed this year. The highest package was 15 lpa, and the lowest was 3–4 lpa, with an average of 6 lpa. TCS, Satyam, and Oracle were among the top recruiters. Almost everybody did an internship after their third year. Top roles like management, analyst, and developer were grabbed by students.
Infrastructure: The lab was of average quality, having an internet facility and requiring equipment according to course requirements. Classes are equipped with cameras. The library was not very good and did not have adequate electricity supply. Hostels are not so good but have basic needs and a laundry facility with a geyser and water cooler available. Food is average and eatable and campus has a canteen for students for all parties and fun. Medical facilities are not provided in college. Sports facilities are also not good and colleges do not engage in extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers were just for attendance and no regular classes were taken by students or teachers. They are qualified but not interested in teaching. The course is according to the university and exams are also taken according to it. Students need to prepare because exams are set by the university and are of good quality. Without studies, we cannot clear the main exam. We have to score at least 40% of the minimum marks to pass the exams.
Other: It is a leading branch and industry needs this skill so choose to take this as a career option. This course has tremendous career options so choose it. The course should have some easy ways to be understood by everyone. Events and festivals are just other college things. Crowding is cool but in college we have students in some numbers. We have connectivity in road transport. A scholarship has been accepted by college.

You will experience pros and cons equally if you are admitting to the college.
Placements: There is not so good campus placement in the college. The average is between 3-4 lacs per annum. You can prefer off campus and start prepare for it from first year onwards. College is providing some online MOOC courses with certificate. For placements, don't rely on college if you are preparing for high package jobs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very pleasing. The garden and classrooms are well maintained. The library of college has all the books you need for your course completion as you don't need to buy extra matter to study. There are sports facilities for sports like TT, badminton, basketball, football, etc.
Faculty: The faculty of college is much support and can help you in every sort of problems. The lectures given by them were good for exams point of view. The faculty of college is M.Tech cleared. Mid semester exams are easy to clear but you need to prepare for end semester exams well.
Other: The college has affordable fees and will give you worth investing money if you are serious about your career in future. The campus is okay and the events and workshops are also good at the campus.

The college can do better by making education the priority over money.
Placements: None of the students got placed in other branches besides CS, and only a few got placed in CS with low packages. No internship drive is held here. Students had to find an internship on their own. The college provides some internships, but they are not worth it. It's for one who wants a certificate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good but not utilised properly. For mechanical branch, machines are available, but labs are not properly managed. For CS, the environment is pretty good. The canteen is nice. There are separate buildings for different branches and are properly managed. The infrastructure is good but needs to improve.
Faculty: Teachers try their best to help students, but it doesn't work properly because of the lack of student-teacher connection. The course curriculum is getting better, but teachers can't convey the information from the university to students properly. Semester exams are pretty easy.

Most affordable college in Kotak, Rajasthan.
Placements: So my branch has 50 students, while other branches have fewer students.
There is no placement provided by the college; however, some students were placed last year through off-campus placements. There is no internship either; you have to arrange your internship on your own.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in a remote location that is a little off-site from the main city; however, basic services are provided in that area. The college has a canteen, which is good but not good for enjoying free time. You can roam around the garden. The infrastructure of our college is not top-notch; it is below average.
Faculty: The faculty is nice and supportive; they never get frustrated when you need help. They will surely help you in exams.
Well, the college follows RTU guidelines and course curriculum so yes, the college curriculum will make the students industry-ready. Midterms are very easy but the end of the semester may be difficult because all the exams are conducted by RTU itself.
