Good place to make a new family.
Placements: Students have to apply for placements and have to meet special requirements. The lowest package offered can range from 2 LPA to more than 5 LPA. Companies like British airways, Purple, and various travel agencies recruits students from our college. Roles offered can include HR manager, travel consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, a library, a student and staff lounge, a reading room and a boys common room with many auditoriums and avenues for events and seminars. The college hostel is inside the college campus, provides a gym facility inside the campus, a proper mess with 3 meals a day, and a good canteen with various options.
Faculty: The faculty is staffed with experienced professionals. Most of them are qualified with M.A., M.Phil., M.Com., and Ph.D. The faculty uses real-life experiences and examples to explain certain topics. The students get ready for the industry with usually conducted industry visits, etc. Semester exams are not that tough; one just needs a proper understanding of the paper to pass. Passing marks at the end semesters are about 40%.

It is the best college in Bangalore.
Placements: Every year our college gets lacs of admission forms, and out of which, thousands of students apply specifically for BA in HJTT core subjects being history journalism and travel tourism. The number of admissions given for this course isn't many. HJTT, as compared to other subjects, has fewer students because it has both theory and practicals. Our college can't promise many jobs for students in the same fields, but the college gives us a lot of opportunities. We have webinars regarding industries we would like to be part of, and we have seminars and field trips to hotels and other such agencies that may help influence our decisions. The course is very interesting, and you don't have to worry about companies hiring because there is always scope for your own business or being a freelancer or a blogger of some sort. The salary package offered in this course isn't as expensive as others, and it is approximately Rs. 60,000 per year. Top recruiting companies not only give us jobs immediately after we graduate but also give us opportunities to take up internships. So, we are sure about the industry we choose.
Infrastructure: The entire college has free Wi-Fi. Every class, corridor and even the drive has free Wi-Fi. The college has constructed a few new buildings to accommodate more students, and the infrastructure is the best in class. We have elevators at every corner if we need them, and we have multiple spacious staircases, so it doesn't get too crowded between classes. The best feature of our timetables in MCC is the time gap between every class so that we can get some break from sitting in the same class every day. Some courses like HJTT even include moving from one classroom to another between the time gap, which couldn't be better. Students get some time to relax and get ready for the next subject. The canteen is a food court with options from multiple restaurants from chocolate, ice creams and junk to a whole Chinese platter, chaats and biryani, and everything is available. Fruits juices and cup noodles are available at inexpensive rates so that everyone can eat whatever they want. The food at the canteen is very good for its value. We have new classrooms. There is an old library with a collection of books that students can only dream off. The library is well-equipped with all the possible books needed in multiples and lots of space to read. They also have a corner where you can read magazines and newspapers in your free time. We have a room with computer systems too. Labs are well-equipped with the best of materials, and the only lab we use is an in-house studio for journalism. The college has a great team for every sport, and we have a well-equipped medical room with a full-time nurse and doctor as well.
Faculty: Teachers, particularly for HJTT, are great. We have multiple teachers for all subjects, and it makes it a lot easier for us to understand our syllabus. All teachers are always available for us to clear our doubts and queries. Teachers provide notes, PDFs and all study materials that make it even easier for us to study, and we know what we can expect for our exams. We have two sets of exams every semester, in which one is CIAs for 30 marks, and the other is end-semester exams for 70-120 marks depending on the subject. The pass percentage in HJTT is always 100% as teachers make everything very easy to understand that no one could possibly fail in exams. Exams are not easy, but if you are interested in the subject and in clearing the paper to secure your degree, then it can be possible.
Other: Our college is the perfect balance of both studies and fun. We have many fests and sometimes very sudden events in college to encourage and give us more reasons to be at college and enjoy being at college. The location of the college is ideal with all the restaurants and hang out spots for after college to relax.
