Good infrastructure and faculty, but dissatisfied with the administration.
Placements: MCC is good for placements in the commerce department, but in the arts, there is no placement since most people opt for higher studies. Also, there are very few jobs at the UG level for arts students. There is no time for internships for psychology students. Most people have to find it out on their own and do it online.
Infrastructure: There are smart classrooms, there are 2 canteens, one is the main one (called Triple C), which has all variety in foods, and the rate is also good. The other canteen is called Purple Corner, which is open and outdoors and serves decent food. I am not sure about hostels as i didn't stay there.
Faculty: Psychology faculty is very approachable and knowledgeable. They teach really well. The psychology curriculum is basic, with general psychology in the 1st year, developmental psychology in the 2nd, and in the 3rd year they give an option between abnormal and counselling psychology.
Other: MCC is famous for its fests. There is not a single day where you'll feel bored on campus. Attendance strictness and dress code are something that should be changed.

Best education and safe college; it's the best college for girls and women.
Placements: The students placed in my combination are above 65%. The highest package offered for this course is 68,000, and the lowest is 32,000. The top recruiting companies were Wipro and Cozicode. The students eligible for internships must not have any backlogs in any semester and should have above 60%.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided to students are good; I would say they are neither too good nor too low. The sports court is small, and there is not much space to play. The canteen food provided is too expensive, which not all students can buy. Games and activities are not provided for all students, only for some associations.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and are experts in their own subjects. All the teachers are well-qualified in their respective departments. Their teaching skills are excellent. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant and helps make the students industry-ready. The 5th and 6th semesters are the most difficult ones, and the papers prepared during these semesters are very challenging. The pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I had a great interest in economic applications, as economics has greater value in this subject. The best part of my subject is the teacher, who makes it interesting and clarifies concepts, making the subject easy to grasp. The things that should be improved include increasing the timing of the examinations for this subject, as there are many sums and less theory. Many scholarships are given by the college. The campus has a different comfort zone. MCC is known for its fests like Cullah Cul Week, fashion shows, sports day, etc. There is not a single day without a program happening in MCC.

Mount Carmel College Bangalore Communication Studies.
Placements: Placements at Mount Carmel College are very tough to get. The average package they say is 4 - 7 LPA. I really don’t have an idea about placements here because I am a newbie and I am in my 1st year. I have done one internship with Indian Artists Collective, which was a non-paying internship. If you want internships, you must be in the good books of the professors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my block is really good, while other blocks, like the LSCB block, have very old benches and stuff. However, every classroom in my block has a computer and a projector. If not every class, at least my block does. There is no hostel for boys here, and since this is the first year for boys, girls are chilling around in the hostel. They have told me it's pretty decent, so don’t expect much.
Faculty: The faculty here is really professional. The professors do have personal talks with students if they are having problems with their studies. Also, the administration here is chill, unlike other colleges. When it comes to exams, I had one CIA and one end-sem exam in the 1st semester, and this is how it works in every semester.

Good place to make a new family.
Placements: Students have to apply for placements and have to meet special requirements. The lowest package offered can range from 2 LPA to more than 5 LPA. Companies like British airways, Purple, and various travel agencies recruits students from our college. Roles offered can include HR manager, travel consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, a library, a student and staff lounge, a reading room and a boys common room with many auditoriums and avenues for events and seminars. The college hostel is inside the college campus, provides a gym facility inside the campus, a proper mess with 3 meals a day, and a good canteen with various options.
Faculty: The faculty is staffed with experienced professionals. Most of them are qualified with M.A., M.Phil., M.Com., and Ph.D. The faculty uses real-life experiences and examples to explain certain topics. The students get ready for the industry with usually conducted industry visits, etc. Semester exams are not that tough; one just needs a proper understanding of the paper to pass. Passing marks at the end semesters are about 40%.

It really has good infrastructure, and it is the best college for placements.
Placements: The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Snacks, Goldman, Popular Radio Station, Deloitte, and other companies looking for communications specialists. All are offered more jobs in college, and last year around 60,2105 students were placed, and the packages varied from 30000 to 50000.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is great and the best. There are a lot of trees and greenery, a resourceful library, good classrooms with projectors and labs, many buildings, a really great canteen with all items, and we can hill both inside and outside of college.
Faculty: We have very knowledgeable faculty. Many of them have been students at this college and then returned to teach here. And the knowledge offered is not textbook knowledge but a lot of experiential knowledge, which makes the students better communicators, and the exams are mostly assignment-based, which is the best part of college.

Good college in bad hands because of competent management .
Placements: The placement opportunities for B. C. and B.A. students are generally subpar, with many students receiving minimal offers. Only those who score extremely well and are highly sought after receive good packages. For students in journalism and psychology, the situation is similar. In journalism, roles such as content writers, reporter, and media analyst are available, while psychology graduates might find positions as counselors, research assistants, and HR specialists. However, competitive packages are typically reserved for top performers.
Infrastructure: The hostel is overpriced and has a lot of ragging incidents, plus frequent food poisoning cases. My first year on campus was great since the student council was student-selected, but now, thanks to poor management, that's no longer the case. The clubs and associations are well-run by the students, except for the performing arts groups. They struggle due to the colleges overly strict and outdated rules. The infrastructure is excellent. The canteen food could be better and cheaper. I love the campusu2014it's green, lush and very well maintained.
Faculty: The course curriculum is outdated and needs revision. Many assignments are practical and field-based, but some feel pointless. Most professors just lecture on their topics, making it hard to follow, especially when we have to take notes at the same time. The exams are moderate challenging but generally passable. However, some teachers are strict grades and won't award marks even if the answers are textbook accurate.
Other: I chose MCC because of its stellar reviews as one of the top five arts colleges in India, especially for my course. I'd heard great things about the psychology faculty, and it mostly lived up to the hype. The college offers various scholarships, including sports and academic ones. The festing season is a big deal here, providing students with valuable communication skills and boosting their confidence in areas they might not have explore otherwise.
