A background in mathematics is not typically required for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course, as it is primarily focused on computer science and information technology.
However, some universities or colleges may have a specific eligibility criteria for admission to the BCA program, which may include a minimum percentage of marks in mathematics in the 12th standard. It is best to check with the specific institution where you are planning to apply for the BCA course to confirm their requirements.
The BCA program is designed for students with a background in computer science and information technology, so completing 12th standard commerce with computer applications is usually a good fit for this course, as it should provide you with the foundational knowledge required to succeed in the program.
