In pgdbm whoever applies has to go through gdpi process. Yes there is a certain weightage given to work ex while in pi rounds. The cutoff is not revealed in the list but generally goes till around 90.

In pgdbm main focus is on your percentile and gdpi. Even past academics are taken in account. But you do stand a chance if you perform well.
