NL Dalmia is a recognised research centre of University of Mumbai in the area/ subject of Management Studies for PhD course. All admissions for PhD shall be through an entrance test (PET) conducted by the university and the interviews conducted by Research Centres. PET will be conducted by the university subject wise and validity of PET would be for three years from the date of results. NL Dalmia offers two-year PGDM course equivalent to MBA course. The full-time PGDM course comprises six semesters (three semesters per year). PGDM at NL Dalmia is available in three specialisations, namely General, Finance and Business Analytics and are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),  Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Admission to PGDM course is entrance-based. The institute accepts national or state-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. for providing admission to PGDM course. Scholarships are provided to academically exceptional and meritorious students at NL Dalmia. 

Candidates need to pass CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAH-CET/ MAT/ ATMA followed by a GDPI round. NL Dalmia also considers past academic record, work experience and extra-curricular of the candidates for providing admission to PGDM Finance course. Additionally, aspirants also need to complete a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for PGDM Finance course. Candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply but for securing admission, he or she must be graduate.
