The Karnataka University, as well as other universities in the state of Karnataka conduct the Karnataka PGCET examination for postgraduate students and other Universities conduct national level entrance test such as CAT, MAT and XAT. Someone who has written valid score in these tests can be admitted to MBA program. Also, under NCET, merit quota is also allowed for the candidates who have excelled in their first degree courses.

The basic eligibility requirement require to be fulfilled first includes completion of 10+2 with required subjects and minimum marks.
