The college is somewhat good at bringing companies to provide placement opportunities to the students, but a less number of companies are interested in visiting the college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2024
3.8

Mixed Review of Narayana Engineering College by CSE Student
Placements: I recently graduated in 2024, and currently, 95% of students are not placed due to factors like the recession and lack of hiring. Although the college is getting some companies, they are not hiring anyone. In the previous year, 2020, placements were very good, with a minimum package of 3 LPA and a maximum of 12 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCL, IBM, and Synovus were the main recruiters.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and while there is no college hostel, there are many private hostels near the college for accommodation. The college has fully equipped labs in different branches. For CSE, the computer labs are well-equipped with all necessary software. There is a central library with a vast number of books, and the college also has a canteen.
Faculty: In CSE, most of the teachers are based, but not all; some are really helpful and motivating. Most lecturers are post-graduates, and some have completed their Ph.D. The curriculum includes all necessary software subjects and languages. Semester exams can be passed by preparing one week before the exam, but a lot of practice is needed to secure a job in the software domain.
Other: I chose this course based on someone’s suggestion, but I enjoy the logical thinking involved in programming. Improvements could include providing more real-time lectures, etc.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2024

Good for taking course in graduation but not in post graduation .
Placements: We can say 10% of the students were placed, and the highest package was 4.5 LPA. At present, a girl got accenture, and the lowest, I don't know. There are no internships for students at the moment, okay? So no other top roles are offered this year; it was the worst for us now.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college; it is only for labs, not for students. Being a college for engineering, like MCA, we need internet for our work, but they won't provide it, but the labs are good. So they have to think about all these things in college.
Faculty: Yes, they are helpful and giving their best to teach and everything for us, but due to some things, the time management was not proper. There will be sudden decisions taken by management that will affect students timetables. That's it. It was the worst thing.
Other: No, I have nothing to say about this, okay?

Review about Narayana Engineering College, Nellore, of the 2024 year.
Placements: Approximately 60% of students were placed this year, but in previous batches, we saw above 80%. The lowest package is 3 LPA and the highest package was 10 LPA. The majority of placed students got into TCS, Wipro, Hexaware, IBM, and Deloitte. The main roles offered are fresher roles such as Associate Developer and Sales Executive.
Infrastructure: The facilities inside the classroom are normal, and projector facilities are available. Different types of labs are there, and a large central library with vast books is available. The infrastructure is good. There is no college hostel facility in Narayana, Nellore, but in Gudur, hostel facilities are available. Private hostels and PGs are near the college.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly postgraduates, and some are doctorates. You can go to them and ask any doubts; they will be helpful to you. Classroom teaching is always through the projector. The course curriculum is good, and software subjects are also included for ECE. They are helpful for us through theory only.

Equipping Future Engineers - NEC Rocks.
Placements: NEC seems to attract a good mix of companies for placements. Big names like TCS, CTS, HCL, Mindtree, and Accenture are mentioned as frequent recruiters. Seniors do get placed in various multinational companies. The college offers support through training and placement cell to help students prepare for placements.
Infrastructure: The campus itself is pretty sweet. The library is massive and has everything you need for late-night study sessions. The labs are top-notch, with all the latest equipment for whatever engineering field you're into. Plus, the Wi-Fi is actually fast enough to handle video call with my folks back home without suffering every five second.
Faculty: The professors here are the real deal. They're not just textbook zombies; they actually get engineering and can explain it in a way that makes sense. Plus, they're super approachable. I mean, where else can you grab coffee with your professor and chat about robotics.
Other: NEC isn't all about textbooks and circuits (although those are important too). There are tons of clubs and events happening all the time, from the robotics club (where we're building the coolest done ever) .

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2026

Best college faculty providing good placements.
Placements: Top companies come for placements. 100% students get selected in core and software roles. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, the medium package is 8 LPA and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. They give the best packages as per the students’ knowledge and skills. They provide the best faculty of selected members.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in the campus. There are PG's best provided outside the campus offering the best quality of food for the students along with good rooms. The college has the best infrastructure along with having sports availability. For anyone being injured during sports, they provided medicines.
Faculty: The faculty has the best teachers, they are Ph.D. qualified while some of the faculty has done their Masters. They help the students with subject related and other problems. The semester curriculum is of 6 months and exams calendar is prepared to conduct the semester exams.
Other: I chose EEE because in electrical department i have many government job options and many student are joining EEE branch nowadays.

About narayana engineering college, satisfactory review and good faculty and good for sports people.
Placements: Placements starting package ranges from 2 to 7 LPA. Mostly sales-developed jobs will come. Placements after the COVID (2022-24) batches have decreased, but they will give placement training. That will help you to get jobs off-campus. Also, we need to work hard and follow the instructions to get good placements.
Infrastructure: There is no college hostel, but near the college, PG hostels are available for ladies and gents. Infrastructure and facilities are quite good. The college has a large central library along with departmental libraries and computer labs. Projectors are available in classrooms. A canteen is also available in the college.
Faculty: An advantage of ECE in this college is Hod sir. He is very helpful to the students who are willing to study and learn. And also faculty are good for providing information we need. The syllabus and curriculum are good as they are accepted by JNTUA. Pass percentage is good and more than 85% is there.
Other: For those who take ECE, there are two paths: go to the IT industry or pursue your core field. Please request that you have to fix one and work for that. I think for ECE, they need to improve awareness on career paths as everyone is confusing. Events and fests will help improve ourselves. Also, technical events are conducted. Mainly, people who are interested in sports will love this college because it has good sports infrastructure, and they support us to participate in sports.
