NIBM needs CAT percentile above 80. Hence your chances are very high. The PI and WAT preparation tips are as under.
1. Preparation tips for Personal Interview(PI) :- The most important thing is to be confident when you are answering the questions during your PI. Prepare well for current affairs. Prepared answers for general questions like why MBA, strengths-weaknesses, short term-long term plans etc.
College, hobbies, area of interest, Made sure you could speak on each point which was on your CV and on application form for at least a minute or so. Make sure you know about the place you were you born or brought up in or any recent news, trivia related to that place. Giving mock helps you get to know how you deliver what you think. The feedback from mock helped you prepare answers better.
2. Preparation tips for WAT :- A Written Ability Test-WAT is conducted by the B-schools to test the candidates' ability to think critically, communicate the ideas, formulate a constructive critique and write the responses in a given time on paper. Students of top B-Schools shared their experience on WAT and suggested the following.
Practice writing daily. Devote enough time every day to read newspapers so that you stay updated on current affairs. This will help you in both WAT and PI. While you practice writing, keep the following points in mind:
1. Time management
2. Practicing on different topics liked or unlike
3. Keep the balance view on topic
4. Express your thoughts first before start writing
5. Keep the language simple
6. Be concise
7. Keep sentences grammatically correct.
8. Practice for writing regularly
