Aadhaar is one of the valid photo id proofs that candidates can produce as identity proof. But exam officials will also accept other government ids like Driving License, Passport, etc. The list of acceptable ids will be mentioned on the NID DAT 2023 admit card. The security personal at the NID DAT exam center will verify the documents before allowing the candidate entry inside the exam center. Any candidate who fails to produce the admit card and id proof will not be allowed to take the that Mains exam.

If you find that the spelling of your name is not correct on your NID (National Identity Card) admit card, you should immediately contact the relevant authorities and inform them of the mistake. You can contact the NID office or the concerned department and explain the situation. They may ask you to provide your correct name spelling and may request you to submit an application with a photocopy of your original identity documents. Once your application is processed and your identity is verified, they will issue you a corrected NID admit card with the correct spelling of your name. It's important to take immediate action because if you appear for the exam with the incorrect name, it could cause issues during the verification process, and you may be denied entry to the exam.

On exam day, you need to bring with you the NID that 2023 admit card and a valid photo ID proof. No candidate will be allowed inside the NID DAT 2023 exam venue unless they carry these documents.

The candidate was given the option to select NID DAT 2023 exam centres from April 3 (4 pm) to April 5 (4 pm). The test centres were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of candidates who failed to select test cities, the system automatically allocated test cities based on the availability of seats in respective test centres. The NID DAT Mains 2023 exam for the B. Des programme was conducted in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Kolkata & Kurukshetra. The candidate was given the option to select the exam city between April 3 (4 pm) to April 5 (4 pm). Admission to the B.Des and M.Des programs at the NIDs is conducted through the NID DAT entrance exam.The exam has two sub-exams - The candidate 1st appears in DAT Prelims, and if shortlisted has to appear in DAT Mains. The final merit list for NID DAT 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.Also, if a candidate doen't appear in DAT Mains, he or she will not be considered for admission. The DAT Mains exam for the B. Des programme will include a Studio Test. Meanwhile, the DAT Mains for the M.Des programme includes a Studio Test and Interview.

NID DAT Mains 2025 exam for the M.Des programme will be conducted from March 3- April 6, 2025. Meanwhile, DAT Mains for the B. Des program will be conducted from April 26- May 4, 2025. Candidates who have qualified DAT Prelims are eligible to appear in DAT Mains. The DAT Mains exam for the B. Des programme will include a Studio Test. However, the dat Mains for the M.Des course also include an interview apart from the Studio Test.The merit list of NID DAT 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The FINAL results for the B.Des program will be declared on May 16, 2025, while final results for the M.Des program will be announced on May 6, 2025.The merit lists will be released at the time of declaration of results. The lists will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. Also, the merit list will be considered for seat allotment.In case of B.Des candidates, candidates included in the merit list has to submit campus preferences.M.Des candidates aren't required to submit campus preferences.

The NID DAT 2025 admit card will carry the following like the application number, Candidate's name, Roll number, Date of birth, Name of the course applied for admission, Reporting time for exam, Date of exam, Exam duration, GATE closing time, Test center code, NID DAT test centre address, Photograph, and Signature. Additionally, it will also contain the Dos and Donts for candidates inside the exam venue. On the day of the NID DAT exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Candidates arriving at the exam after the exam has commence may not be allowed entry inside the exam venue.

The final results of NID DAT is prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.In case of the B.Des program, the DAT Prelims carries 40% weightage, while DAT Mains carries 60% weightage. Meanwhile for the M.Des programme, DAT Prelims carries 30% weightage, while DAT Mains carries 70% weightage. Note that DAT Mains for M.Des contains to sub-components - Studio Test and Interview.Candidates who qualify DAT Prelims has to mandatorily appear in the DAT Mains. Or else, the candidate is not considered for admission.
