The NID DAT 2025 (Mains) exam for the B. Des programme will be held from April 26 - May 4, 2024. The timings for the dat Mains exam will be mentioned in the NID DAT 2025 admit card, along with the reporting time. The candidate needs to reach the DAT Mains exam centre as per the timings given in the admit card. Note that you may not be allowed entry inside the exam venue once the exam commences. So, it is advisable to reach the exam venue with time in hand.

Aspirants can secure admission to B. Des and M.Des courses offered at NID campuses on the basis of NID DAT 2025 merit rank. Note that merit ranks will be issued to the candidate only if he or she appears in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. The candidate has to first appear in DAT Prelims. Shortlisted candidates have to next appear in DAT Mains. The final result or merit list will be prepared by considering the weighted scores of DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.The National Institute of Design will allow B.Des candidates to enter their campus preferences once final results are out. The NID that 2023 Prelims exam was conducted in a pen-and-paper based mode. The NID that 2023 Mains exam for the B. Des programme comprise a Studio Test, which will also be conducted offline mode. Yes, if you belong to any reserve category, then it is necessary to upload the required category Certificate. The documents have to be uploaded at the time of filling out the NID that application form. Note that candidates trying to use counterfeit document may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process if caught. The NID DAT 2025 counseling will also have a document verification process. The counseling process for the B. Des programme will commence soon after results are declared.

Yes, the NID result is declared online on the official website of the design entrance exam. Aspirants need to visit NID admission page, click on the result link and log-in using their email id and date of birth. Note that the National Institute of Design will not send hard copies of the NID that scorecard to the candidate. The NID that scorecard for prelims will include details like Part I, Part II, and total scores secured by the candidate in the exam. Meanwhile, the scorecard for that Mains will also include the NID that 2023 merit rank of the candidate.

The NID that exam is conducted in two stages - that Prelims and that Mains. Candidates who qualify that Prelims has to next appear in that Mains.
