Fee Structure: The total fee for a B.Des. in Graphic Design is INR 13,88,000 per year.
The first-year fee is INR 3,54,000 PA.
Second-Year fee: INR 3,444,000 PA.
Third-Year fee: INR 3,444,000 PA.

These seats are available at the NID Ahmedabad and the NID Madhya Pradesh. According to the criteria, non-resident Indians (NRIs) who have Indian citizenship are not eligible to apply under this quota. If your nephew is also a US citizen, then he can apply for this quota. As an Indian citizen, your nephew can apply under the general quota for B. Des., provided he has passed or is appearing in Class 12 in the academic year 2021-22. You can sponsor his studies in general or in whichever subcategory he is eligible as an Indian citizen.

1. Courses: There are around eight specializations offered in the Bachelor of Design. In the Master of Design, around seven specializations are provided.
2. Hostel facilities: Separate, well-maintained hostels for boys and girls. The college has a student mess committee to oversee the quality of the mess food.
3. The campus is situated near the Sabarmati river and has lush green infrastructure. The college has Wi-Fi-enabled infrastructure. It also has a canteen, a gym, and a canteen. A separate guest house for parents' stay is also available at NID.
4. Events and extracurricular activities : There are occasional celebrations such as Chitrakatha and Alpavirama to provide a platform to explore the creative side of students. Apart from that, many socio-cultural events are organized by the student activity committee.
5. Students can get medical help 24/7 a week, and the college also offers psychological counseling.

Create a timetable and get stick to it. Follow NIFT and NID prescribed entrance books for your preparation. Try to practice sketching every day and taking inspiration from the real life environment around you. Keep browsing through newspapers and the latest magazines as much as you can. Try to be creative. Practice previous year's papers. Also, practice on A4 size sketchbooks and not in A3 as it is the standard size of the answer sheet provided in the examination.
