Overall, I am completely satisfied with our college.

Placements: About 60%-70% of the students from our batch got placements. The highest salary package offered is about 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Tanishq, Peppery, Kalyan Jewellers and Woodland also. Almost 90% of the students got internships, and they have the freedom to choose their own brand to work with. Top roles offered in our course are jewellery design, home decor, furniture design, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided for this course in NIFT Hyderabad is outstanding. You get everything which you want for the course like every lab for practical, Wi-Fi connectivity on the entire campus and a library with all books you need. Classrooms are perfectly designed, and there is an auditorium and a playground. Everything is available here. There's no hostel for boys, but for girls, there's a hostel, which is well designed. The food served in the girls' hostel is like homemade food. Emergency medical facilities are also available. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel, and the hostel is situated inside the campus only with full security.

Faculty: All the faculty members here are very helpful and have great knowledge of the course. They help in every assignment, and they even help you if you call or message them. Their teaching quality is also very good. You will have some extra subjects also like some extra languages, some sports classes, music classes, dance, yoga, personality development classes, etc. So, you can learn about your interests also. The main course of the subject is also well designed.

Other: I chose this course because I am very much interested in jewellery and furniture design, and I am learning that in this course. Here I got a 100% scholarship also and got help to buy a laptop. We also have guest lectures where we are learning the situation of the market and different brands.

Good placement rate, good infrastructure, and satisfactory faculty, but college fees bit higher.

Placements: Last year's placement rate was almost 92%. The highest salary offered was Rs. 92,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 32,000 per month. On average, most students got placements with an average salary package of 5-6 LPA, and increment to be made on a performance basis. IKEA, Urban Ladder, Pepper Fry, Adidas, Titan, Aditya Birla, are the top recruiters. Roles of an art director, design executive, and design consultant are offered. The highest salary package offered in accessory design was Rs. 78,000 per month. Almost 88-90% of the students got internships and placements.

Infrastructure: The college provides 24 hours of working Wi-Fi. There is a 4-sections separated library which is known as the resource center. The latest promo styles for design predictions are available, along with fabric and material samples. There are fully equipped labs for every department. There are spacious classrooms. The campus environment is eco-friendly. The building is decorated with artworks of students. There is easy access to administrative offices. There are 2 girls hostels with 2 sharing rooms and complete security around the clock. There are 24 hours of water supply on the entire campus. They served 3 meals a day in the mess. A doctor comes here every day. Hospitals are nearby. Students media-claim card is provided. There is an ATM beside the college. There is a mall next to campus. Sports practices are every day. The court is available for every sports activity.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified. They have a grasp of the subject, understanding of students ideas and doubts, are really friendly. The course offers industry-based curriculum. It provides enough time for exploration. They conduct cluster visits and lets students interact with the experts in the field.

Other: I wanted to be a product developer and an interior designer, so accessory design was the best choice for me. Here I get to know facts about different materials by practically working on them. It would have been better if they focused a bit more on enhancing the software skills of students. Annual inter-branch sports meet named Converge is conducted in December on a large scale for a period of 3 days. Apart from that, annual fest known as Spectrum is conducted during February, for 2 days. Various scholarships are offered to students, based on the parent's income statement, reservations. General elective subjects are offered to students as an extracurricular activity.

The amazing life of a budding designer in NIFT, Hyderabad.

Placements: All of us were placed, and infact most of us had a PPO before the end of the graduating term. The alumni and faculty is helpful in getting the students their choice of companies as the network is great. You just need to choose an area of interest and a company of your choice and go to a faculty and you will have the numbers of atleast one working staff from that same company who will then guide you into getting into the organisation.

Infrastructure: The building is beautiful and airy. The hostels and clean with excellent working staff, beautiful gardens and huge fields for extracurricular activities. We have 3 basketball pitches, big cricket field, TT tables and tennis court. A colorful canteen, with a fresh fruit stall is great for all kinds of food need. We also have a huge auditorium that converts into a ramp when there is a fashion show. The AD department has four labs. The outdoor labs has all kinds of machines for wood work/glass work/terecotta/clay/pottery work. The two indoor labs is for metal/thermacol/paper work. In addition the computer labs have all the updated software needed for designing with excellent faculty who help the students in all these labs. The library is huge with fashion journals, forecasting magazines from around the world and previous years projects of alumni to help the newer student understand the work and requirements. We also have books from all kinds of fields to diversify the knowledge base of students. All in all the infrastructure is excellent with 24x7 working Wi-Fi at every corner of the campus.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The course curriculum is such that it gives you an opportunity to explore yourself and your interest and choose what you would like to pursue in the future. The free interaction between students help different departments to intermingle and learn their area of knowledge, infact we have atleast two students from accessory design who went ahead and persued fashion designing as their future area of work.

Kind of not good enough because of the kack of advancement and the syllabus and teaching techniques.

Placements: Not good placements for AD department. The AD department is only focused on lifestyle accessories and handmade products. So not much of those fancy high end product designing that we see on the internet. Generally 5-10 students are placed out of 30-34. Average package is not more than 2.5 lacs.

Infrastructure: A small campus in madhapur. Convenient to reach. Not so well maintained. Small playground area. However the new building is well maintained and is well-equipped with tons of machines for knitwear and textile departments worth of crores. 3-4 labs for software courses but half of the computers arena't working. However the resource cwntre is equipped with a lot of worthy books to gain knowledge. Wi-Fi is generally not good. Canteen food is good only when admissions are happening.

Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful if you know how to approach them. Courses provided in nift are basically good for people who are interested in mainly fashion and clothings. Knitwear, textiles and fashion design departments are really good. The curriculum of nift is about to change for the upcoming batches and credit system will be in place. Majors and minors subject choices will be provided. So I guess it's going to improve a lot.

Other: Fest and events are generally small in number. Sports events are conducted tho very less participation. Annual events among all nifts are conducted. Scholarships are for low income only not merit basis.
