NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.

Satisfied due to facilities and infrastructure. Dissatisfied due to below average placements.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed ranges from around 75-80%. The highest packages is around 4.5 LPA, the lowest package is around 2-2.5 LPA and the average being around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Myntra, Levi's, Aditya Birla Group, RIL, Shahi exports, Orient Craft and many other big fashion designers and houses of the Indian Fashion Industry. Everyone has to do the internships compulsorily and the companies are the same as mentioned above. The roles include fashion designer, Graphic designer, UI/UX designer etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure that was available were design labs - Garment construction lab, Pattern making lab, smart classrooms, Nescafe shop, resource centre with computer/books facilities along with many other facilities. All the facilities are really good. The hostel facility was very good but the mess food was not.

Faculty: The teachers were well qualified, knowledgeable, and experts in their fields with lots of industry experience. The quality of teaching was good and was usually practical in nature. The course curriculum was relevant but more exposure to the students should be provided like other top NIFT campuses. It does make the students ready for the industry and the summer internships is great.

Other: I chose the course out of my deep interest in fashion designing. The return on investment of the course is very less so that should be better. The campus is very huge and impressive with very modern architecture and gives very stylish vibes.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: We got placements through a portfolio which we made during our 4th year. There are 100% placements. The highest salary package offered was 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 4 Lacs per annum. The best companies visit the campus for placements. Students get internships in companies like Arvind Mill, Sahu Textile, Ajio etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. The campus has 3 buildings, 2 of them have classrooms and labs, and the other one is the admin block. There are girls' hostels on the campus, with a capacity of 250 girls. The campus has a basketball court, volleyball ground etc. I am satisfied with the infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and friendly with students. They help us in subjects as well as in getting internships. They teach us well. NIFT is following a new curriculum from this year. This course curriculum helps students to be mentally and physically active.

Faculty is good, the campus is good, but there are some management problems.

Placements: The placements have improved in the last few years, but only in numbers, not in income. The highest package last year also came from NIFT Patna, but the average isn't very high. Placements mostly depend on the student, not the campus, and the college doesn't have much impact on it.

Infrastructure: Mess food is good, but the quality isn't very high. Actions are being taken, but no results have been seen so far. Although the food variety is considerable, the quality is questionable. The canteen is big and spacious and offers almost everything at reasonable prices, and the food is tasty.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty are really experienced and good. The curriculum is also strong in most departments, with a strict jury and high competition, which promotes great elevation among talented students. The curriculum is well planned, and the extra subjects are taught by experienced teachers.

Other: The system of events and fests isn't very good. Many festivals are arranged, and they are enjoyable, but the Student Development Council can be a bit chaotic.

Placements: Placements are provided based on our work done in the four years, and last, we made a portfolio to present in placement. There are almost 100% placements. Salary package offered to students depends on their work. Every student will get internships in different companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very attractive and appealing. The campus has 3 main buildings. This campus is the biggest among the all NIFT campus. There is a well-managed resource centre on the campus. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and it is equipped with projectors, table, and chairs. Hostels are available along with all the required things. Food served in the canteen is the worst. The quality and hygiene condition of the food is very bad.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are very supportive. They are friendly. NIFT started a new curriculum with extra activities like gem, gio, and idm classes. Due to this curriculum, we are suffering from time shortage. We are facing a problem with our major subjects.

Other: Fests are held here at the end of the year. Events are also held here. We celebrate all the festivals in our college.
