It has been a challenge to study at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur while doing MBBS since medical studies can be demanding. It takes 5.5 academic years with one-year compulsory internship after which the students are equipped with lifes multiple and vast knowledge from pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical courses. The tuition fee is around Rs 20-25 Lacs per course and, there are additional costs added on for some students. It becomes very important to clear NEET with good marks as to get admission, one needs to score approximately 200-450 mark depending on quota factor. The amount of work is a theoretical and practical knowledge along with a series of hospital training, which might be tiresome but quite academic yet easy if one dedicates a consistent amount of effort.

The MBBS programme of the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur considers the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET is the only entrance test accepted by the institute for MBBS admission. For admission, one should clear NEET UG qualifying mark, which are approximately in range of 200-450 for Management quota and for 400-500 for state quota. Performance in NEET decides the option for counseling and allocation of a particular seat because NIMS does not hold an individual examination to offer admission in MBBS programme.

National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur have average job placement and this college mainly focuses on medical and para medical fields. About MBBS and postgraduate courses most of the graduates get placements in hospital or further education. The Medical graduates average pay scale is about INR 6-10 LPA based on specialisation and region. While in paramedical and allied courses placements are fair, with INR 3L to 5L as average salary packages. They work with hospitals and opposed to putting out applications that result in a good job market for the institute. However, placements are more or less skill-based, internships and placement are closely associated within the sphere of healthcare organization.
