Good infrastructure and decent placements but there is room for improvement.
Placements: About 60% of my batchmates were placed. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was about 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. Around 50% of students got internships, mainly at companies like TCS, Infosys, and some startups. The most common roles offered were software developer, IT analyst, and quality assurance.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent, with classrooms equipped with projectors and a computer lab with good internet speed. The library has a good collection of academic and reference books, but it can get crowded during exam times. Wi-Fi is available across campus but can be slow. Hostels are average, with manageable rooms but some outdated facilities. The mess food is okay but repetitive, and there's a small canteen on campus with basic snacks. There are medical facilities and sports options, but the gym could use more equipment.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, although the quality of their teaching varied. Some professors were highly skilled and industry-experienced, while others were more theoretical. The curriculum was mostly relevant to industry trends but could have used more practical courses. Exams were moderately difficult, and the passing rate was around 85%. The faculty provided support during the exam preparation period, and there was an option for retakes for those who needed them.
Other: This college is a good option if you're looking for a mid-range B.Teach college with decent infrastructure and reasonable placements. However, if you're aiming for top-tier placements, you should focus on additional certification and internships to boost your employability.

It is a good college with hostel facilities, and teachers' knowledge is also good.
Placements: This academic year almost all seniors get placements. Different companies have come very far, and recruited a large number of students. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Happiest Minds, and Capgemini are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Our course is good, but there is some issue with hostel and hostel facilities, especially in food. But Wi-Fi speed is good, and the infrastructure is also good. There is some issue with electricity especially in summer. Hostel accommodation is good, single rooms are also available along with 3, 4, 6 students room.
Faculty: Faculty members have good technical and teaching knowledge. Some also helps in doing researches. Semester exams are tough, and its passing percentage is 40%. On average, there are 5 to 6 papers in each semester. There are laboratory and projects paper as well.
Other: By learning this course, students can easily do coding and develop applications.

Not that good you can find better than this.
Placements: The highest package for my course was 12 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. The campus was good before COVID, but after COVID there was a lot of internal politics. Things are getting better every year, but still not up to par. To sit for campus placement, we need a minimum of 6.0 SGPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere, but it's not fast enough. The infrastructure is old, and the food is below average. The hostel rooms are average. Sports are not played every day, and playgrounds are not available for every sport.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful and well qualified. But some of the teachers are not as good. Also, in the first year, we have to study what we have already learned in our 12th standard. Semester exams are not as we might expect but they are more like busy work.
Other: Fest is good. Extracurriculars are not regular.

Dissatisfied because of less extra curricular activities, tedious schedule, lack of maintenance.
Placements: From the end of the 3rd year, students are eligible for the campus placements drive. Various companies have visited. The top company visits are- Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meil, TCS, Western Digital, the highest Package by Amazon - 28LPA in CSE branch Next the highest Package by Western Digital - 18LPA in ECE branch 85% percent of students are placed in the campus recruitments. My aim is to start a startup in the future after I graduate. Companies offering internships are: Tata, Verzeo, ZeroCode, FamPay, Pepper Content, etc. Positions include:- Business development intern, Product Design Intern, Graphic Design Intern, Content Creator, etc. There's an opportunity to grab a seat in their respective companies for performing well with their projects.
Infrastructure: There are five main buildings in the campus:- Octagon accomodating library and canteen, TIFAC for research facilities and equipments, Atrium with regular classrooms, can accommodate easily upto 60 students per room, LHC consisting of labs with electronic equipments and Galleria, generally for computer labs. Wi-Fi is available and provides decent connectivity. The quality of the canteen and hostel food is average. Medical provisions are available. The college provides a gymnasium and a indoor sports hall. Facilities are provided for sports like badminton and table tennis. Also a basketball and volleyball court are available. Swimming pool is included as well.
Faculty: Faculty-student ratio is around 1:60. Faculty members were well qualified and talented. Most of the faculty are postgraduates or Professors. They really help a lot in clearing all our doubts. And student environment is decent and competitive. You will SEE a variety of students from across the states. Teaching methods are usually with a blackboard or a smart board. And the labs are well-equipped with the instruments and devices required for practical understanding of concepts. Semesters are average and sometimes difficult. An average student can secure easily pass marks but for distinction grades, students have to work hard. Students are advised to maintain their SGPA above 7.5. That's the least to be eligible for campus drives. The minimum pass marks are 40 for every subject in both theory and practical.
Other: I choose the course as I had some interest in computer hardware and stuff. I applied for it because it had a great scope in the industry and I was choosing my passion. The fees structure is not so expensive. A student having financial difficulties can enroll in this college with decent amount of fees to be paid. I am still a sophomore and looking forward to the job opportunities provided by NIST. Every year there is an annual fest held at the college. Usually, in the 2nd or 3rd month of the year, the college holds an annual fest for two days called SANKALP. In this fest, various events are technical and related to Science and non-technical as well. These events are usually fun and whoever wins will be rewarded with a money prize.

Review of National Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: 93 percent of students get placed every year. Top companies include Infosys, TCS, and WD. The highest package is 21 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship. Top roles include system engineer and AI engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere, all the classrooms are digitalized, and all the facilities are good. The quality of food in the canteen is very poor. The hostel rooms are very small. The medical facilities are pretty good, and there is an ambulance as well. The library is very good in our college.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. holders in our college. The course curriculum is so good as they influence me to come to this college. They prepare us for good product-based companies. The semester exams are at a medium to difficult level. The teaching quality is good enough.
Other: All the seniors are very helpful and supportive. I wish to improve the quality of food in the canteen and the size of the hostel rooms. The name of the cultural fest is Sankalp and the name of the sports fest is Weaves; it is the biggest fest in south Odisha.
