The selection procedure is valid for the course of B.E./B.Tech offered at Navsahyadri Education Society's Group of Institutions where the candidates are admitted by merit basis of the entrance tests and their percentage of marks. The performers need to write the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The institution takes into consideration scores of these exams for admission. Further, they should have cleared the 10+2 examination with 50% marks (for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates 45%) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical vocational subjects. The institution follows a 70:30 ratio for admission, out of them 70% seats are for the students of Maharashtra state and 30% seats for the all India candidate.

But, going by the previous years trend, the MHT CET results have always been out in the month of either June or July. For instance, the MHT CET results were released on June 15 for the previous year. All the students who have written MHT CET exam can check their results through website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The offered B.E./B.Tech programs are based on the MHT CET scores that involve 360 students in total.

Yes, there are some seats for which students can get admission in Navsahyadri Education Society's Group of Institutions B.E./B.Tech course without MHT CET. The institution takes into consideration scores of other entrance tests such as JEE Main. Application is open for those candidates who have attempted JEE Main examination. Further, under the management quota, there is 20% of the total intake for admission to this institution. Basically, the admission can be sought for those applicants who might have NOT write the MHT CET or JEE Main tests. However, they must pass 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH category) in the modular subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical vocational subjects.

The eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Navsahyadri Education Society's Group of Institutions is as follows: Minimum eligibility criteria includes that candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50 % marks (45%marks reserve category) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemist and Biology Biotechnology Technical Vocational subjects. Also, the candidates have to clear the Section B of JEE Main or MHT-CET scores obtained by the candidate in JEE Main or MHT CET should be non-zero. It also tackles the Maharashtra State Candidature Type, under which 70% of the institutes are for the Maharashtra state students while 30% are for all India students. The various B.E. / B.Tech programmes available at the institute are forty five programmes in all, having three hundred and sixty total seats.

Definitely, Navsahyadri Education Society's Group of Institutions has provisions for direct admission to join B.E./B.Tech courses. The seats under the management quota are also available in the institution with an offer of 20% total seating capacity. Students who wants direct admission in the respective college can provide their marks of 10+2 and other necessary documents. The admission process normally takes place in April-May every year. The direct admission fees are around 1,20,000 per annum which is much higher than the normal fees of 80000 per annum.

The competition level is moderate to get admissions at Navsahyadri Education Society's Group of Institutions. This institution alone receives nearly 5000 applications for the B.E./B.Tech courses of the institution in which there are only 360 seat. Admissions to the institution follow merit and this entails that candidates are selected after they performed well in common tests such as MHT-CET or JEE Main. The admission cut off marks also change with the course and year for MHT-CET ranging within 60-80 percentiles while for JEE Main the percentile ranges from 50-70 percentiles. The Institution also provide direct admission under management quota which constitutes about 20 percent of total intake capacity. In general, admission is selective; however, every student who passed all the examinations creditably and high ranking on the entrance examination has a reasonable chance to be admitted.
