Hi Aman, As such, there are 3 basic steps to become a pilot rather to be called as a pilot.The first step is the SPL (student pilot license), second step is the PPL (private pilot license) and the third step is the CPL (commercial pilot license).Once you are through with these steps, you get the title of a pilot, but to get a job you are still left to do your multi engine rating and type rating. Once you do all these, you are eligible to apply for a pilot's job.

If you're aiming all the IIMs and some top non-IIMs, then giving CAT is compulsory. Else, you can give other entrance exams too, as per your wish.
