Overall Positive: amazing placement, good opportunities, easy exams, amazing fests.
Placements: In Mechanical Engineering, about 70% of students who register for placements land jobs. Salary packages range quite a bit. Top offers are high, the average sits above 10 LPA, and the lowest is usually around 5 LPA, since the college has a policy against offers below 4 LPA. We get a wide range of recruiters, from tech giants like FAANG, core companies like Maruti Suzuki, to consulting firms like Deloitte and EY. Internships can be competitive, but students with strong skills typically find good opportunities. The roles offered cover a lot of ground, from technical positions in software and engineering, to consulting, analyst roles, and core mechanical positions in fields like automotive and manufacturing.
Infrastructure: Our campus provides a fantastic environment for learning, with very fast Wi-Fi accessible in classrooms and even outside. The labs are well-equipped, making hands-on experiments enjoyable, and the classrooms are spacious and inviting. The library, located in a separate, fully air-conditioned building, is a great place to study quietly. While the hostel food could use some improvement, the facilities are comfortable, and the on-campus clinic offers good medical care with free treatment for students. We also have a variety of sports options and well-maintained facilities, encouraging everyone to stay active and engaged in physical activities. Overall, it's a supportive and vibrant community for all of us!
Faculty: At this college, the teaching quality can be quite a mixed bag. Some professors truly stand out and inspire students, while others may not resonate as well, creating an unpredictable learning experience. Most of the instructors are qualified and knowledgeable, which helps, but the variation can be frustrating. The course curriculum is relevant and does a good job of preparing students for the industry. Semester exams are generally on the easier side, often following a familiar pattern from past years? Questions, which can boost students' confidence and pass rates. Overall, despite the ups and downs with different teachers, many students feel equipped for their future careers.

It is a good college but I’m upset with the attendance criteria. The fest are mind-blowing.
Placements: Our college’s placements state is very good. Every year, all the big companies come to our campus for placements. 80% of the students get placed every year with an average package of 12 LPA. Our Alumni network is very strong which helps us to get into big companies.
Infrastructure: The entire college is Wi-Fi enabled and mostly all the classes are air conditioned. We have our own library with thousands of books available. There are 7 hostels; 5 for boys and 2 for girls. The hostel rooms are good but the mess food quality depends up on the hostel. A Canteen and an Amul store are also available for the students.
Faculty: Our college faculty is very well experienced. Mostly, all the teachers are helpful. The curriculum is designed to teach the students real-life applications which helps us to understand the concepts properly. In every 2 months, exams will be conducted consisting of 20 and 50 marks respectively.
Other: Our college has one of the best fest in the entire North India after IIT DELHI which are RESONANZE and MOKSHA.

NSUT: Engineering relevant in 2024?
Placements: Almost 50-60% students get placed in my branch. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA and the average package offered is 8 LPA. Getting Internship in mechanical branch is not easy at all. You need to maintain 8+ CGPA to get an internship. 2-3% students get internships. Top companies are Tata motors, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is just okay. Buildings look very old and don’t justify the fees charged. The Labs for our branch are the worst. Wi-Fi connectivity is good overall. The college library is decent. The classrooms are very nice up to 2nd year but after that we will get a normal school type classroom. Food in the mess is above average and the canteen is just average.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable but they don't have good teaching skills. The teaching quality is not good at all. They just come in the class for just formality. I am in the beginning of my 2nd year and till now I don't think the students are industry ready, but in the 2nd year, the college teaches us good skills in the labs. Semester exams are just moderate level, we need to score 4 CGPA to pass a subject.

NSUT- The dream college .
Placements: The state of placement is pretty good. More than 70 percent of students were placed, mostly from its branches, but overall, all branches had good placement results and good packages. Internship opportunities are also provided at this college, and many top companies come and recruit.
Infrastructure: The hostels are clean, and there is plenty of space in the rooms. Even though there are few hostels for girls, the hygiene is good. Canteen foods are delicious and healthy. There is a medical room with good documents to help students in distress. The hostels are in an open area and, hence, are not compact.
Faculty: The curriculum is mostly according to the field of study. Some are easy, some are hard, but overall they are manageable. The teachers are supportive and helpful and are always ready to take doubts and help students. They encourage students to interact more.

NSUT - my dream college.
Placements: So the placement record is generally really good in NSUT, but due to the recent post-COVID recession in 2023, placement hasn't been up to par, so out of all eligible students, only 55% were offered a job. From what we got to know, the highest package offered was 30 LPA from Sprinkler. There are not many core companies, but Audit, Tata, Mahendra, and Sprinkler are the major targets for our course. The internship record in our course is not good, but rather poor, as there are not many internship opportunities here for our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good; there is a fully air-conditioned, triple-story library offering all required books. There are Wi-Fi connections everywhere around the college. The hostel is good; there are single rooms for privacy purposes and even a table chair for study purposes, and the canteen food is really good—not like home, but it is adjustable. There are proper facilities for cricket, football, running track, basketball court, and even indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and have proper knowledge of their subjects, but their teaching methods and style are not very good. Most of the faculty members are not interested in the teaching part but rather just complete their lecture. The course curriculum is relevant, but the main thing that makes students industry-ready is industrial visits, which are scheduled on a regular basis. The semester exam is evenly balanced with easy-to-moderate questions, and if the students maintain a total of around 40 marks out of 100, they are comfortable passing.
Other: The only bad part about the college is the high feel, despite the college being regulated by the government itself, and the core branches are not very good in terms of core placement itself, although they can easily switch to non-teaching and even a few teaching opportunities in on-campus placements. The college societies regularly organize a few events to teach enthusiastic students in sports and many other fields.
