Admission to NSIT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) is primarily based on JEE Main scores and rank rather than percentile. NSIT is known for its competitive admission process, and typically, the cutoff ranks for admission are relatively high. With an 85 percentile in JEE Main it is unlikely that you would meet the cutoff rank required for admission to NSIT. However, it's important to note that cutoff ranks can vary each year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the availability of seats. To have a clearer understanding of your chances of admission to NSIT, it's recommended to refer to the official website or admission brochure of NSIT. They will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on the cutoff ranks for different categories in previous years' admissions. This will help you determine the feasibility of securing admission to NSIT with your JEE Main score and category rank.

NSIT and NITs are renowned educational institutions in India, esteemed for their engineering and technology education excellence. NSIT holds a prominent position among the leading engineering colleges in India, renowned for its robust curriculum and high academic standards. On the other hand, NITs are a collection of independent public technical universities, widely recognised and respected nationwide. Sits provide a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various engineering disciplines. NITs, on the other hand, offer a diverse array of engineering specializations across their multiple campuses. It's worth noting that the availability of specific specializations may differ between Sits and various NITs. Both Sits and NITs boast impressive placement records and strong industry collaborations. However, it's important to acknowledge that placement opportunities can vary based on factors such as the chosen branch of study, individual performance, and the prevailing demand for specific skill Sets in the job market. Selecting between NSIT and NITs depends on a multitude of factors, including personal preferences, desired branch of study, location preferences, available specializations, admission criteria, and other crucial considerations.
