No, there is no option for direct admission into the courses offered at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) (formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology). The university admits students into its MBA programmes based on CAT scores and subsequent CMAC counselling. For M.Tech courses, NSIT selects students for admission through CCMN counselling. Moreover, admission into PhD programmes at NSIT is through a written exam/PI round conducted by the institute itself. NSIT only gives admission based on JEE Main rank.

You stand a good chance of being admitted to Delhi Technological University (DTU) or Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) for a variety of engineering courses if your SC category rank in JEE Mains was 5900. Particularly for well-liked specialisations like Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), these universities have fierce competition. Nonetheless, you fall into a fair range for SC category seats based on your rating. To improve your chances of acceptance, it is advised that you actively participate in the counselling sessions and investigate all of your alternatives, even the less popular branches.

It is difficult to definitively say whether you can get into DTU or NSIT (NSUT) with a 60 percentile in JEE Mains (assuming you are referring to the General-EWS category) because the cutoff ranks fluctuate every year. Generally Competitive: Getting admitted to DTU and NSIT, especially for the most sought-after branches like Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, is competitive with a 60 percentile in the General-EWS category. Factors Affecting Cutoffs: The cut-off ranks depend on several factors including:Number of applicantsDifficulty level of the JEE Mains exam that yearAvailability of seats in each branchPossible but Uncertain: There's a chance you might get a seat, but it's uncertain. It depends on how the factors mentioned above play out in 2024.
