Given its long history, DTU Mechanical Engineering is a great option. The department is excellent in all areas, including buildings, professors, infrastructure, labs, placements, and reputation. The 12th grade is not directly taken into account for admission by NSIT.To have a chance in the General category with 60% in the 12th grade, you would need a JEE Main rank below 500.NSIT and DTU ask for an aggregate of 60% or more in PCM and passing them along with English in 12th, so yes you're eligible for them. IIITD, on the other hand, demands 80%. These are for general category.To apply, a candidate should have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology with 75% marks or should feature among the top 20 percentile. For selection, the candidate has to take the JEE- Main.
