{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Pursuing BE/BTech at Newton's Institute of Science and Technology: Worth Considering? Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:Placement Records:* The placement rate is around 60-90%, with some exceptional years reaching 100%.* The highest salary package offered is INR8 LPA, while the lowest is INR2 LPA.* Top recruiters include Wipro, and top roles are mostly software development-related positions.Faculty and Curriculum:* Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with most holding higher qualifications (M.Tech/MBA).* The curriculum seems relevant and prepares students for the industry.Infrastructure and Facilities:* The college has good infrastructure, with Wi-Fi availability, modern lab equipment, and a well-stocked library.* Hostel facilities are considered good, although there may be issues with food quality.Campus Life:* Campus life is overall positive, with regular events, sports activities, and a good atmosphere.Challenges:* Some students report difficulties in adjusting to the exam structure and strict evaluation process.* Limited internships and lower stipends might be a concern for some students.Considering these factors, whether pursuing a BE/BTech at Newton's Institute of Science and Technology is "worth" considering depends on individual priorities. If you're looking for strong placement records, decent faculty, and good infrastructure, this institute might be suitable. However, if you're concerned about limited internships or stricter evaluations, you may want to weigh your options carefully. Ultimately, it's essential to research thoroughly and visit the college to gain a better understanding of its strengths and weaknesses before making an informed decision.
