National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)  is an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. It was made to provide knowledge and skill development in the field on Information, Electronics and Communications Technology among students. Both Nielit Patna and Nielit Shillong provides quality educational courses to its students at very affordable cost. Nielit Patna promotes more than 10 courses in IT and software stream at affordable fees and give good placement. However, Nielit Shillong offers long-term, short-term certificate, and other courses to students across the Hardware, Networking & Maintenance, and various other streams. The qualities of Nielit centres vary, so considering course offerings, faculty, infrastructure and placement records. According to Shiksha reports, The placement records of NIELIT Shillong are yet to be mentioned in their official website. However, 27% of the students placed by Information Technology sector during NIELIT Patna past years placements followed by other sectors.

NIELIT Guwahati or Cotton University both are the best for BCA programme , Cotton University is a public state university whereas as The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Guwahati is National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous scientific society under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The fee of Cotton University for BCA is INR 1.33 Lacs whereas the fees of NIELIT Guwahati is INR 1.20 Lacs . Cotton University is accepted admission on the baisis of CUET, AHSEC, CBSE12th, whereas NIELIT Guwahati is accepted admission on the basis of class 12th and in some cases they offer NIELIT entrance exam, candidate can choose any one of them according to their capabilities.

The institute offers BCA, Certificate and Advanced Diploma courses in various specialisations. The minimum eligibility required for admission to BCA is Class 12 with 50%. And, candidates can directly apply on the official website of the institute for enquiry regarding admission.

Candidates must ensure to fulfill the entry requirements to take admission to a certificate programme. 

Nielit Pali, located in Rajasthan, provides educational courses in IT and software streams. It is focussed in providing digital literacy courses to its students. It offers around five digital literacy courses to its students out of which ECC (Expert Computer Course) is one. A student who has passed class 12 from a recognised board of education is eligible to pursue ECC course of duration of 200 hours ( Classroom time) at Nielit Pali. 

NIELIT Shillong offers both long term and short term courses. The fees of various short term courses like BCC, CCC, ECC etc. cost around INR.4k - 8k. However, different long terms courses like O' Level in IT (Software), 'O' Level in CHM etc. cost around INR.15k - 30K.

Yes, you can get admission in NIELT Ranchi for certificate courses with 60% marks in 12th as the criteria for admission is 10+2 and basic computer knowledge (or some programming language knowledge for any respective specific language-oriented course). NIELIT Ranchi offers a fairly wide range of courses for students ready to learn ranging from Digital Literacy courses, to Short term and Long term courses.The short-term certificate courses are meant to get the candidates acquainted with IT skills. Hi Nishar, While the BCA programme at NIELIT Itanagar is a three-year programme and is the flagship programme of the institute, NIELIT Gangtok doesn't offer it. Hence, there can't be any comparison done between the two institutes for BCA programmes. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar offers BCA (General) in the campus.
