Candidates can be eligible to pursue ECC at Nielit Shillong if he/she scores minimum 50% in the Nielit entrance exam and has passed 12th with minimum 50% - 60% from any recognised board of education. However, the latest cutoff information for ECC at Nielit Shillong is yet to announced. 

As the cutoff marks are still not provided by official website of NIELIT Shillong, yet Candidates can be eligible to pursue ACC at Nielit Shillong if he/she scores minimum 50% in the Nielit entrance exam and has passed 12th with minimum 50% - 60% from any recognised board of secondary education.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)  is an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. It was made to provide knowledge and skill development in the field on Information, Electronics and Communications Technology among students. Both Nielit Patna and Nielit Shillong provides quality educational courses to its students at very affordable cost. Nielit Patna promotes more than 10 courses in IT and software stream at affordable fees and give good placement. However, Nielit Shillong offers long-term, short-term certificate, and other courses to students across the Hardware, Networking & Maintenance, and various other streams. However, the fees of both NIELIT centres are very much the same. For example, The CCC course at Nielit Shillong cost around Rs. 5,295 and the same course at Nielit Patna cost around Rs. 4,555.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Shillong  is one of the centres of NIELIT institutions. Nielit Shillong, located in Meghalaya offers long-term, short-term certificate, and other courses to students  at very affordable cost. The long-term course offered by the college is LTC-1: 'O' Level in IT (Software). The short-term courses offered by the college are BCC (Basic Computer Course), CCC (Course on Computer Concepts), PC Hardware, Networking & Maintenance, Certificate course in Computerised Accounting with Tally, Certificate course in Office Automation and Soft Skills, and others.

Candidate can take ECC at NIELIT Shillong if they meets the eligibility criteria of the academic merits and have passed 12th from any recognised board of secondary education. However, NIELIT Shillong accepts admission of 25 students per batch in ECC and other programmes.

NIELIT Shillong admission to various courses is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. For short-term courses, the admissions are based on a candidate's academic merit. Admission to long-term courses is conducted through NIELIT entrance exam. Candidates can be eligible to pursue ECC at Nielit Shillong if he/she scores minimum 50% in the Nielit entrance exam and has passed 12th with minimum 50% - 60% from any recognised board of education.

For short-term courses, admission is open throughout the year for enrollment. For long-term courses, the applications are accepted twice in a year, January & July. Admission process for both term courses depends on the eligibility criteria of the student. The admission in short term course depends upon the academic merits. However, the admission in long term courses is conducted through the NIELIT entrance exam along with academic merits. You cannot join NIELIT Shillong directly.
