NIT Calicut's Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme requires applicants to have a valid score on the annual NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET). Applicants must have completed undergraduate studies in mathematics and have a bachelor's degree in any field. In their qualifying degree, students should also have earned at least 50% of the possible points (45% for reserved categories). Registration for the NIMCET exam, application form completion, and provision of required academic documentation are the usual steps in the application procedure. After the results are made public, applicants are ranked on a shortlist, and those chosen will undergo counselling before being admitted.
