For getting admission into MBA in NIT Calicut, the minimum academic qualifications required are:
a) Regular candidates: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institution on a full time basis with an aggregate minimum of 60% or 6.5 out of 10 CGPA for Open and OBC categories and 55% or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA for SC and ST categories. Final year students (of the above mentioned programs ) are also eligible to apply for the MBA program.
The applicants should have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score.The aspirants shall be ranked based on their performance in group discussions and personal interviews, conducted as part of selection procedure for admission.
b) Sponsored Candidates (up to 5 students) - Candidates sponsored by their employers to pursue an MBA at NIT Calicut, should forward their application through the proper channel.They must have a minimum work experience of three years in the sponsoring organization after graduation in any of the disciplines prescribed for regular candidates.

See, the best placement is of BITS-Goa and after that comes NIT-Calicut. But the average package of both has a lot more difference. BITS-Goa has an average pack of 3.25 LPA, whereas, NIT-Calicut offers 2.75 LPA only.

In my opinion, you should pursue CSE from NIT-Calicut, because NIT-Calicut provides good quality of CSE faculty members, good course curriculum, good placements and computer labs also.
